We contacted Anthony Masonry on 14 April 2022 to get our patio and driveway repaired. Contacted the owner, Cynthia Anthony and she agreed to come over and give us an estimate. She arrived several hours later and measured the areas to be repaired and gave a quote of $1700. The quote was a little high for the repairs and she stated; "What will works for your budget" and I stated $1500. We agreed on the price and she requested a deposit be made so she could secure the materials, which I gave her $1000,(IN CASH) to start the work. A contract was written up with a start day of 19 April 2022 and the completion of 26 April 2022, with a clause of; (if the weather permitted). The contract was invalidate as of 26 April at midnight because the work was never started nor completed. As you can see in prior complaints, wording of the same; was used as the way she have treated customs. On 21 April, We call her to find out the status and why the job wasn't started, she didn't return our call. Call her again on 22 Apr, and she give an excuse she was sick,(she could have call or texted us) which she didn't. On 23 Apr, Cynthia showed up at the house and give another excuse that the Cement Truck was delayed and why she hadn't started and they would begin the work on 25 Apr,. We stated to her we would be going out of town but the gate would be open and she has our permission to go in and start the job. We returned on 26 Apr and the only thing done was the boards were laid down to square off the patio, "TOTALLY UNSAT". This is the worst dealing we have had with a contractor. Anthony Masonry is a company (if you can call it that). "NO WORK WILL BE DONE ON MY PROPERTY" by this company. AS of today, 29 Apr 22, Cynthia Anthony has not contacted us. We demand a full refund of $1000 be returned to us in cash, "NO CHECK", Anthony Masonry is horrible, we don't understand why they still are in business..
