****** Lynch started out being a friend. I never really understood what he did for a living, but when he found out about my lawsuit, he told me that he could help me.. he outlined a proposal, advising me how to move forward with defending my lawsuit and I payed his $850 retainer fee. Then I became very confused to find out he wasnt an attorney or a member of the ***********. He gave me hours of legal advice regarding my case and wed discuss strategy. ****** wasnt professional, never returned calls or text messages and constantly missed Zoom and in person meeting without explanation. After he missed a 4th meeting, I decided enough was enough. He hasnt accomplished any of the things proposed in his plan, so I terminated him and asked for a refund. He is refusing to give back any of the $850 I paid him, but has rendered no services and it is illegal for him to render these services to begin with as a paralegal, who is supposed to be working under an attorney. When I asked him the name of the attorney he works for, he refused to answer and quickly changed the subject. I kept asking and asking for a meeting, phone conference SOMETHING with an attorney, and was never given a response. I posted a review of his business on ****** and am currently experiencing retaliatory threats and my car was vandalized. I am afraid for my safety and do not want any other clients going through similar experiences.

This letter serves as a formal response to the complaint filed by *** ******* (Complaint ID: ********* against The Lynch Consultants Group, LLC and myself, ****** Lynch.  We acknowledge receipt of this complaint and appreciate the opportunity to address the allegations presented.
The narrative presented by complainant, *** ********, is entirely without merit and constitutes an intentional and malicious fabrication. We deny the claims made as they are a deliberate misrepresentation of any past or present interactions.
It's imperative to establish context regarding the complainant's motivations. The complaint is not a genuine expression of consumer dissatisfaction but rather an act of targeted harassment stemming from a personal vendetta, all due to the complainant being rejected romantically. This individual has engaged in behavior aligned with personal animosity, which has now escalated to the misuse of the Better Business Bureau's platform as a tool for personal retaliation. While the specifics of this personal hostility are outside the purview of a business complaint, its existence is necessary to understand the underlying basis for this bogus complaint. This individual's actions are motivated by feelings of scorn and rejection. It must be understood that no professional relationship has ever been established between *** ******* and The Lynch Consultants Group or ****** Lynch in any capacity.  There has been no offer or acceptance of services and no retainer agreement or engagement agreement ever existed.  Furthermore, no contract has ever been executed nor has any financial consideration or exchange for services ever transpired.
The Lynch Consultants Group, LLC prides itself on upholding high standards of professional conduct and ethical business practices.  Our protocols are designed to ensure transparency and fairness and we maintain comprehensive records of all client interactions, transactions, and communications.  Any submission by Mr. ******* to the contrary is self-generated, self-serving and out of spite and malice, all stemming from a personal vendetta from being rejected romantically.

The prerequisites for a consumer-provider relationship are glaringly absent.  As such, we respectfully request that the Better Business Bureau consider the external, non-business-related motivations behind this complaint. This individual is attempting to leverage the BBB's dispute resolution process to inflict reputation damage and cause undue distress, rather than to resolve a legitimate consumer issue. We understand the BBB's commitment to protecting consumers, and it's in that spirit that we highlight the potential for the platform to be exploited by individuals with malicious intent.

We trust that upon a comprehensive review of the facts, the Better Business Bureau will recognize the spurious nature of this complaint and its underlying intent for what it really is.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.

    Sincerely,
****** Lynch, Managing Member, The Lynch Consultants Group, LLC

    Business Response

Re: Supplemental Reply to Complaint #******** *** *******

    Dear Better Business Bureau:

Mr. ******* initially contacted The Lynch Consultants Group, LLC in early June 2025.  On June 9, 2025, I provided to Mr. ******** via email, a professional service proposal outlining terms, deliverables, and the scope of representation.
While I did follow up, Mr. ******* never replied to that correspondence or engaged in any form of acceptance of the terms. At no point was the proposal formally executed or returned to us with payment, nor was any service initiated. No contract was formed. No consideration exchanged hands. There is no invoice, deposit, signed engagement letter on file, or client file whatsoever. Following his silence on that proposal, Mr. ******* began contacting me persistently with personal and romantic advances, which I chose to ignore and disengage from entirely. At no point did I pursue a client relationship or attempt to enforce the proposal due to the inappropriate nature of his communication and the compromised boundaries that resulted.
Now, a month later, Mr. ******* has submitted that proposalfalsely marked as signedto the BBB with his complaint in an attempt to present it as a valid contract. This is a fabrication. The alleged signature and implication of payment are completely unsubstantiated and false. This is a clear misuse of the BBB platform in an attempt to inflict reputation harm upon myself and my company, stemming from a personal rejection unrelated to business matters. It is an example of the platform being used in bad faith, and we respectfully request that this complaint be dismissed on the grounds of falsification and lack of any qualifying consumer-business relationship.

The complainant further alleges that his personal vehicle was vandalized and that he fears for his safety. These accusations are entirely baseless, irrelevant to the subject of this complaint, and appear to be a calculated attempt to escalate a fabricated business dispute into a personal and emotionally charged narrative. I categorically deny any knowledge of or connection to any alleged incident involving his property or personal safety. These claims are not only unsupported by any evidence, but also serve to discredit the intent of the complaint by introducing inflammatory and defamatory assertions wholly unrelated to the scope of a business transaction. Their inclusion further demonstrates that this complaint is not grounded in consumer concern but is part of a broader, retaliatory effort to damage my reputation due to personal rejection and perceived grievance. Such misuse of the BBBs platform undermines its purpose and should be treated with appropriate scrutiny.

This pattern of behavior illustrates a clear and intentional misuse of the Better Business Bureaus platformnot to resolve a legitimate consumer issue, but to engage in a personal vendetta. The BBB exists to mediate commercial disputes in good faith, not to serve as a tool for retaliation, harassment, or defamation arising from personal rejection. The inclusion of these unrelated and unsubstantiated claims further erodes the credibility of the complainant and underscores the absence of any legitimate business basis for the complaint.

For these reasons, I respectfully request that the BBB recognize the malicious and retaliatory nature of this filing, take into consideration the complainants abuse of the platform, and move to formally dismiss the complaint in its entirety on the grounds that it lacks merit, relevance, and standing as a consumer dispute.

    Sincerely,
    ****** Lynch

    Complaint: 23595415

I am rejecting this response because:
I have the email correspondence showing that I returned the fully executed proposal letter via email and he accepted it. I also have already included the screenshots showing my payment which ****** ********************** insisted be paid directly to his cash app.  I have a text message confirming that I paid him $110 for his services and Than Him acknowledging that he received the rest of the payment.

I also have for the record, My entire text message correspondence between Mr. ********************** and I and since he met me on a dating website, even though hes partnered.

He will be very embarrassed to see that these are submitted for the record, but they disprove his maniacal account of me Harassing making unwanted advances.  And they prove that his response is retaliatory.  I blurred out the inappropriate pictures he sent me

    Sincerely,

This is a supplemental and final response to Complaint #********.

The complainant now claims I accepted a signed proposal and received payment via Cash App. Both claims are entirely false. No services were rendered, no contract was formed, and my company does not accept peer-to-peer payments.

More troubling, the complainant has included inappropriate and defamatory remarks about my personal life and private relationship, including veiled threats intended to cause public embarrassment. These statements are harassing and have no place in a legitimate business dispute.

I request this complaint be dismissed immediately. A full legal memorandum and cease-and-desist letter have been submitted to the BBB office and are set forth herein for reference.

    MEMORANDUM
To: Better Business Bureau / Legal Department
    From: ****** Lynch, Managing Member
    Subject: Escalated Response Complaint #******** (*** *******)

This memorandum supplements my prior response and addresses newly introduced claims and conduct by the complainant that are defamatory, fabricated, and harassing in nature.

    Background Update
Mr. ******* now alleges I accepted a signed proposal via email and received payment through Cash App. I categorically deny both claims. No proposal was accepted, no contract was formed, and no funds were received by The Lynch Consultants Group, LLC. Our business strictly prohibits peer-to-peer payment platforms like Cash App for client transactions. We operate under a formal engagement process that requires a written agreement and payment through our secured invoicing systemnone of which occurred here.

    Harassment, Defamation & Threats
Mr. ******* has escalated the situation by introducing inflammatory, irrelevant, and threatening personal commentary. This includes references to my private relationship and alleged communications on an adult website, along with statements implying intent to cause public embarrassment. These comments are not only unrelated to businessthey are malicious, defamatory, and constitute harassment.

Such conduct reflects a calculated misuse of the BBBs dispute platform. What began as a false business claim has now evolved into an overt act of personal retaliation stemming from rejected romantic advances. His behavior now borders on cyberharassment and defamation per se under Florida law.

    Request for Dismissal
In light of these facts, I respectfully request the BBB take the following action:
    - Dismiss Complaint #******** in full, with prejudice;
    - Remove any defamatory or personally harassing language from the public-facing record;
    - Issue a warning regarding misuse of the BBBs consumer complaint platform.

As an A-rated, accredited business, I take all complaints seriouslybut I also expect the BBB to uphold its standards and prevent its systems from being weaponized in bad faith.

    Sincerely,
    ****** Lynch

I am rejecting this response because:

This response is a bunch of nonsense written to distract us from the facts- which are that I paid $850 for a service that was never rendered.

He has $850 of my money, and I have no product, PERIOD.  And as long as this remains the case, he can babble about whatever nonsense he wants.

Thank you BBB for this forum for consumers to fight bullies like ****** Lynch.

    Good evening:

Upon the advice of counsel, we must respectfully decline arbitration.  The complainant continues to advance this claim despite a request to cease and desist.  This matter has escalated beyond the scope of BBB resolution and is under review for potential legal action.  Kindly notate this claim accordingly.

Thank you for your continued assistance in this matter.

The Lynch Consultants Group has defended this baseless claim for months and have exhausted hours, efforts, and has suffered losses so great that we have no other option other than to pursue legal channels. We are incredibly disappointed in the BBB's unsupported statement that because the matter is "unresolved" our business  rating may be negatively impacted.  That is not only cruel, but unethical on so many levels.  Please be certain to capture the entirety of this matter so that our position is transparent and clear and not one sided or vague to make it appear as though we simply refused to resolve.  In reality we have been damaged and have put countless hours in defending this "claim".  We have suffered a loss both in production, financial gain and reputational.  At this point, if the BBB operates in the fashion of kicking an honest, reputable and accredited business while they are already victim to baseless matters filed by unstable and unethical persons, then the BBB's practices are simply unethical and we are beyond disappointed.
