BBB records indicate a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging that while Treegloo.com stated a 2-4 week delivery window on its website, the company delayed orders of its laptop and electronic tablet cases by several months or more. Consumer complaints also alleged difficulty reaching the business' customer service department and/or difficulty getting responses from Treegloo.com to online and telephone inquiries for order status or refund requests. Several complaints also reported product quality issues.
On February 18, 2013 BBB opened an investigation and contacted Treegloo.com and its owner, Ms. Amanda Hanawa requesting additional background information on Treegloo.com and notifying the company of its pattern of complaints. Treegloo.com did provide a response on February 19, 2013 stating customers had not given the company ample time to respond to inquiries and, in most cases, immediately filed complaints with the BBB instead of trying to resolve outstanding issues with Treegloo.com. In response to the company's letter, BBB asked for additional information and clarification regarding what an ample time period for response would be, as many consumers reported waiting 36 hours or more before filing a BBB complaint. BBB also asked Treegloo.com to address reasons and offer possible solutions as to why items were not shipped within the company's advertised shipping window. The company did not provide a follow-up response to the inquiry.
