In January 2023, BBB investigated Dusty Duct Cleaners’ as a result of an influx in consumer inquiries and complaints relating to the business’s sales practices. BBB received inquiries and complaints from consumers alleging that they were receiving rude and aggressive telemarketing calls form Dusty Duct Cleaners.
On January 30, 2023, BBB contacted Dusty Duct Cleaners, via email, and requested that it provide a written response to all outstanding complaints.
Dusty Duct Cleaners’ website suggests that it services almost all major cities across Ontario however, the business does not display a physical address. BBB requested that Dusty Duct Cleaners provide its complete mailing address as well as its headquarters’ location. BBB currently does not know where the business is physically located and urges caution when choosing whether to do business with a company whose physical location is unknown.
BBB further asked the business to confirm its legal operating name and that it provide a copy of its registration. BBB conducted both a federal and a corporation search for Dusty Duct Cleaners but was not successful in finding any registration under the said business name.
In the interest of transparency, BBB asked that the business provide the names of its principles, as well as the business’ start date. A WHOIS domain search indicates that Dusty Duct Cleaners' website was created on January 19, 2022, and the registrant’s name is not disclosed.
BBB asked that the business to either substantiate, modify or discontinue some advertising claims.
As of today, BBB has not received a response from the business and based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot confirm the legitimacy of Dusty Duct Cleaners.

BBB further asked Dusty Duct Cleaners to substantiate its partnership with Canada Construction Contractors, as well as The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) as noted on its website, and that it provide documentation supporting its claim of having been awarded Homestar’s Best of 2018.
