**** had our roofing job done in one day. ******* clean up even with a magnet to pick up stray nails and clean up of the siding where old tar paper hit the sides of the house on the way down to the dumpster.Can't think if anything that would have improved this project. We recommend **** without any reservations!!!

Boak and Sons replaced roof July 2020 had a confirmation by ***** that no ladders against my ******** gutters or warranty would be voided. Roofers disregarded contract and put ladders against gutters scratching and denting them. I will have to replace my gutters do to there recklessness and disregard to my wishes. Tried to get quote for siding and the sales person was not interested in giving a quote. Very disappointed in this company.Boak and Sons, Inc. Response

*************** disputes the claims from ************ and asks that the review be removed from the BBB website. Regarding her first claim, **** had notified us to protect the gutter guards during the project and our crews did as she had requested. Once the project was complete ************ was completely satisfied and paid for the project in full. We have no record of any damage to the gutter protection. This project was completed June 29th, 2020, and after almost two years there is now damage claimed to have happened during our project. With that length of time the gutter protection could have been damaged by ice, ice removal, trees, other work completed at the home, or any other number of conditions that are not related to our new roof installation. *************** had not been notified about the damage until we saw the review left on the BBB website. *************** takes any customer dissatisfaction seriously, had we been notified of the damage we would have gone to the home and inspected the damage she is claiming. If there were any indications that the gutter guard was damaged by *************** work, we would have repaired the damage at no expense to the home owner. Because of the time of the BBB claim in relation to when *************** performed the work, and that *************** had never been notified of the issue we dispute the claim of damage to the gutter protection and ask the BBB to remove the review on their website Regarding her second claim concerning the siding estimate **** claims she did not receive, ******************* from our office personally measured, quoted, and hand delivered on February 26th, 2020 and followed up on for ***************. *************** has the quote on file and would update and send her a revised proposal if desired.Review from Leslie P

I worked with ***** at Boak and Sons to replace the roof and gutters on my mother's home. The roof work included removal of existing roof and installing ***** Corning Duration shingles, a new rubber roof over a flat area of the house and a sheet metal roof above the front entry. Additionally, the gutters were replaced with Leaf Relief. ***** was great to work with as he kept in constant communication regarding material selection and scheduling. His crews were hardworking and professional. I am so happy with the final product and the quality of work done by ***************.Review from Donna S

Boak & Sons did an awesome upgrade to our house. It was such a large project including new replacement windows with new beautiful vinyl siding and all of the related items. They had great suggestions for improvements along the way and were extremely knowledgeable. We wanted some unique designs for the windows and the front porch -- Harlan was happy to make those happen. The crew was courteous and tried their best to keep all of the landscaping intact - we really appreciate that! It has been such a hot and humid summer but they got the job done. Bill Green was easy to work with on the quote and answered all of our questions - thank goodness for email! Our decades home looks new again! Thanks Boak & Sons!!Review from Mike and Cindy D

Boak and Sons replaced my Parent's roof and they were so thrilled with the job that was done, they told us to give Boak and Sons a call when it was time for our roof to be replaced. We are so glad that we went with them for our roof and gutters! We were immediately impressed with the estimate process. The professional was on our roof, taking time to give us a thoughtful estimate and to talk us through all of our material options. The crew worked with us regarding scheduling so that we were well prepared for when the project started. The crew was professional and did fantastic work through very difficult weather conditions (extreme heat and thunderstorms). Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. All of their work was extremely well coordinated and the clean up afterwards was incredible. We have two dogs, and I was so happy that the cleanup at the end of every day was so perfect that we didn't have any worries letting our dogs out to run the yard afterwards. The completed roof looks fantastic and we are so excited to share their contact information with our neighbors, friends and family.
