Had these guys at my home more than a few times to have them blow my down spout to the curb out and its always worked. Im 2021 the service was 500 dollars which is a lot but it works. Today in July 26th 2023 the exact same service is 625 dollars!!! Nice mark up! 625 dollars being the cheapest option. I can take the way they push their employees to up sell when fixing something inside but just to show up for an hour work for 625 dollars is a bit of gouging!! Never again!! Btw, last time they worked in my house, for the last time, I had 3 small problems, when they left I still had 1, they broke a 70 dollar valve I had to pay for and charged me around 700 for resetting a toilet!! They will get the job done except my 1 thing they didnt but the prices are outrageous!!

I am the proud owner of AtoZ and appreciate any and all reviews as I get the opportunity to dig in and rectify issues and dig in to operations. In this case it is extremely disappointing that any customer would make accusations that are not factual, innacurate and accusatory. But there are platforms like this for a reason and I am more than glad to respond to set the record straight. The 1st fact was our price of 500 to 625 2plus years later. Yes there has been inflation, food costs are more expensive, transporation is, wages are, housing is so having an increase in cost to keep up with inflation is absolutely what has been happening to us.. Our profit has not gone up by that amount but our cost has with the target NET the same, unchanged.. If you have NOT experienced prices going up with anything else then I understand however you probably should be writing reviews about pricing for everything that you purchase from everyone. The amount of work that went into solving that problem is absolutely worth every *****. My team works extremely hard to create a customer experience that is second to none and I will NOT apologize at all for that. Finding a company that will be able to match our outstanding service, communication and integrity as well as our actual abilitiles and equipment to perform those tasks is NOT even something I have seen other than with AtoZ. The 3 small problems you had and the 700 and 70 dollar valve you refer to is totally innacurate.. We pulled the existing toilet chizzled some type of hardened calcification from the closet 90 and installed a brand new american standard champion pro toilet. So NO it was not 700 to reset a toilet it included everything. The ***** valve that we broke was a rotted innoperable OLD valve that would not turn off the water, we did not cause the valve to fail. Age and poor water quality did. My team explained that in writing yet you feel the need to twist it into something devious or deceptive. We absolutley have an outstanding reputation in the community and are trusted and respected. We have written core values that we hire and fire by and we stick by that. We absolutely are appreciative that you called us when we left some tools behind for us to pick up and we did that, THAT was a sign of high integrity and we thank you for that. Have had them out at least 3 times in about 4 years. Was pleased with them until now. Had them out to fix a leaking water line to my refrigerator. While moving the fridge back and forth several times to get the water dispenser to work properly they ripped holes in our brand new vinyl flooring that was just installed 2 weeks ago. After contacting them we were told it wasn’t their fault and refused to repair or replace the flooring. Very unprofessional

We looked at this as we look at every job objectively. We always do what is right even if it stings a little. This particular situation is one where it appears as though we were the unlucky people that moved the refrigerator back in place. The service expert did take before and after pictures. One of the before pictures shows in betwen the floor joists the basement ceiling or the 1st floor was saturated with water.. I suspect that was leaking into the floor and under the floor which would in turn make the linolium weak and very suseptible to damage. If we caused the water leak that ultimatey caused damaged to the floor then I could see it being our responsibility however in this case I am unalbe to see where AtoZ Should be held liable for anything whatsoever.. I also included manufacturer instructions that also say when a laminante floor gets wet, it should be replaced.

Terrible experience with this company. They charged me $960 to repair gas leak and snake drain to the street on Dec2nd. I thought it was pricey but I paid it didnt really have a choice. Fast forward to today so 6 weeks later main drain backed up again and water all over basement , I called them explained that they were just there in December They went in basement took a look at drain and said yep it needed snaked again and wanted $340 today to do that, told them to pound salt and hung up wow what happened to integrity I have used this company several times and they know that but Im done with them now . The bad gives us the opportunity to determine whether we have a system, process or team member problem, which we can then put steps in place to correct. The great reviews give us an opportunity to celebrate and appreciate how dedicated our team members are in making sure we satisfy our customers needs. I have looked over the details, the calls, the pictures, recommendations back in December as well as the most recent call. I'm not sure if there was an issue in December with the services performed. It does appear as though the gas was shut off to the home due to leaks prior to us being called out.. We then came out and rectified those issues as well as the drain issues in a timely manor. At the time of the initial visit, our service expert had communicated and written up in the description that the drain was cleared but there was a need for hydro jetting for a few reasons. 1 is because a mechanical blade that is the exact size of the opening will only clean the exact size of the opening. 2, The opening is 4inch and the pipe is 6inches once it leaves the basement. So no matter who comes out, if using mechanical cutting tools, ie snakes etc. 4inches of 6inches is the best that can be done. 3 There are roots that are growing in the joints as well as wet wipes that have been down the drain and inside of the pipes each time there. 4 Wet wipes may SAY they are flushable but they cause a serious amount of back *** and recurring back*** for customers. Most landlords will educate tenants on what not to flush down the toilet and potentially bill them if there are items in the drain that should not be in the drain. That is a personal preference thing which we see handled both ways. Either way the only way to ensure that your tenants can flush wet wipes down the drain without backup is to replace the lateral or reline it with our trenchless pipe relining process. This basically gives you a permanent solution in which we can guarantee that there will be no clogs for life. If you do have a clog, we come out and unclog it for free as well as determine why it clogged, again only possible with the whole lateral being relined. That is the only way to make sure that roots don't grow in the pipe and wet wipes don't clog the drain due to roots or imperfections in the pipe holding them from flowing out.
