I will start by saying that we ended up bringing four truck and trailer loads to the new house before the movers even came(these items were accounted for in our walk through quote). We did this because our neighbors had just moved with Two Men and a Truck four days prior and said that they drastically underestimated what needed to be moved. Our neighbors also let us know that they over charged them for time not used so we were extremely diligent while calculating the time they left and lunch/breaks taken. All six men were gone between houses for an hour and 20 minutes for lunch, it only takes 20 minutes to get from our old house to our new one. They also took four breaks at 10 minute increments so the total down time should have been an hour and 40 minutes and they only took off a half hour. This leaves them charging us for an hour and 10 minutes not worked(that is $420 we were overcharged) On top of that they also left so many items at the house that they were told needed to come and we know they had plenty of room on the second truck because it wasn’t even halfway filled. It took my husband three trips to finally get everything that they left behind. The move manager’s name was Luke and I felt so uncomfortable with his attitude the entire day. He argued about moving things, saying they wouldn’t fit down the steps. We told him we have moved in and out of our current house twice and knew it would fit. He reluctantly took it but dumped all of the contents out of it before they even went down the steps. We were told at our walk through to leave everything in the dressers and desks and they would move as is! At one point Luke forcefully kicked my antique chest to move it out of the way so he could put something else in its place. Not realizing I was behind him he turned around and said, “oh sorry”. I was beyond furious but I could tell that he was extremely argumentative and did not want to start a fight. They also broke/damaged multiple items (I got pictures)and rushed us at the end of the day and didn’t allow a walk-through. After they left I went through the house and found the damaged items and took pictures. They even broke our glass top antique stand and his it from us by putting it in a dark closet/add-on. I can tell they clearly knew that it was broken because they even left it half wrapped in the movers wrapping cloths and they always take them. I can’t believe that somebody was so dishonest that they couldn’t even let us know that they broke it. When they left, we watched three of them throw their fast food cups out the window in our driveway! These are just the highlights of the day and I would never hire Two Men and a Truck again.
