    I'm going to start by being 100% honest about this situation. I myself was part of the problem, I was late on rent multiple times but I always paid the balance 100% of the time. (And had good reason as to why i fell on financial hardship for a year, had 2 family members away within weeks of each other)My complaint is how unprofessional the management is at ***************** I have multiple text/email exchanges with the property manager stating that 3 day notices come out on 22nd of each month, and evictions are filed when the the tenant (myself) falls 2 months delinquent on rent payments. So here we are February 14, 2023 and they have filed for eviction, even after I tried to pay what I would owe them in the rent on February 9th, 2023. The management at the **************** was extremely unprofessional, and absolutely unreasonable when I tried to come to a resolution that worked for everyone. Which would have been I paid the rent owed, and give my 30 day notice to move, but instead they would rather go through this long drawn our process of court. Every single time I dealt with **************** over this 18 months, it was anything but polite. Even during normal business hours they would refuse to take your rent payment at the desk, always made you put it in the drop box, which is there, for when they are not available to take payment directly. They have signs that say such things. My point is they have absolutely no sense of customer service. They raise thier voices within seconds of a conversation, because they lack the patience it takes to be in customer service.

    DO NOT lease with this company. They will rip you off and they are HIGHLY unprofessional. If you call in they will hang up on you then blame you. Their attitude towards people who rent from them is unprofessional. If you have an issue where you live and they make you call the main office, the main office is already aware of the issue and will only take the side of the apartment complex. I talked to Rhonda and she was the rudest person I have ever talked to. We moved out within a year because we couldn't stand renting from these people. Stay far away from any establishment that they manage.

    To the best of my knowledge Ms. H*****'s complaint is due to her saying she was not provided a list of items that she could be potentially charged for when vacating the townhome. When Ms. H***** moved into the townhome on March 14, 2020 both she and her roommate signed a Statement of Charges that details the items and cost that a resident may be charged for when vacating their apartment or townhome. This is provided up front as standard procedure for all new residents moving into any apartment or townhome at any Simco community so they are aware of what they can possibly be charged for from the very beginning of their occupancy of their new home. We have a signed copy of Ms. H******s Statement of Charges in our file. We are certainly sorry that Ms. Hoover believes that Simco has been unprofessional and rude, but this information was provided to her when she moved in so I am not certain what the basis is for those comments.
