BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming (located in Fort Collins, CO) is looking for a Data Quality Specialist who will serve as the primary person ensuring our public data is accurate and up to date. This non-exempt position reports to the VP/Dispute Resolution and Operations.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Distribute business profile forms to businesses and process updates according to information provided.
  • Processes all record updates from business development
  • Create new business records according to policy and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze database reports on a consistent basis and make necessary updates to ensure high data quality standards are achieved.
  • Handles any API faults
  • Handle and coordinate data quality projects assigned by the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
  • Monitor bounced email lists and contact businesses for updated contact information.
  • Manage all returned mail and obtain correct contact information and make updates to business records accordingly.
  • Verify all public information on new Accredited Businesses is accurate and up-to-date
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Accredited Businesses ensuring their reports are accurate and in depth as possible.
  • Enter BBB Bucks leads
  • Retrieve incoming office mail and distribute accordingly to correct staff members
  • Outgoing postal mail
  • Check on systemwide and statewide records for quality as directed by VP of Operations
  • Serve as LiveChat agent on our local website.
  • Backup on operator phone lines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle job responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain data quality standards according to BBB policy.
  • Must have an understanding of how updates/changes can impact other data.
  • Operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task.
  • Strong understanding of computers, internet research and ability to work in business databases.


Education/Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience working in a research and/or data entry support role

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • This is a full-time Monday-Friday position
  • Work is inside an office environment the majority of the time

BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming (located in Fort Collins, CO) is growing our team and have an immediate opening for a Sales Representative. This is an opportunity to consult with business owners; helping them build their online presence to stay competitive in the marketplace, while demonstrating a reputation of trust, credibility and high quality service. Success in this role requires a results driven mentality with significant time on the telephone. Sales Representatives are vital in supporting our growth by qualifying leads and contacting business owners to invite them to apply for BBB Accreditation. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position - weekends and evenings are not required.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Deliver presentations to business owners/decision makers in a pleasant, professional and confident manner over the phone and in person.
  • Explain benefits of BBB Accreditation clearly and concisely
  • Meet and exceed targeted performance objectives on a consistent basis
  • Learn and use presentation materials to effectively explain BBB's services
  • Ability to prospect and qualify leads

  • Have previous experience with business-to-business sales and cold calling
