              Paying a membership fee to exchange our timeshare isn't worthwhile, especially when additional fees are involved for exchanges. Our only reason for upgrading was to use the gondola, a favorite part of our visits with friends. However, as animals aren't allowed at Grand Timber Lodge, our kids won't benefit from it.We don't see the value in keeping it, especially since my son is concerned about potential responsibilities if something were to happen to us and he has his own financial challenges.

              I was upgraded from the Breckenridge Inn on the day I arrived to the grand timber lodge. You have to do the time share presentation, but you also can say no. It was no pressure and we left after it was done. Just remember, it is cheaper to buy your own place up in the mountains than pay for a ski in-ski out lodge. Your fractional deed can only be sold for a loss. So be a good consumer and say no thank you.
