            I signed up for a promotional digital subscription for $1 on April 15, 2023, and canceled the same day so that I would not be charged for a renewal. Greeley Tribune began to charge me in October 2023 $14.99/month for my canceled account. I tried multiple times to call the number associated with the charge and could not get through. After researching I was able to find a different number to call and request a refund for the $74.95 charged to my card (an overseas call center). They refused the refund and said they would "escalate the complaint."

            I have two subscriptions to the paper. I pay for my own and my mother's. I paid my mother's bill on October 1 and paid for a year $192.40 ($16.03 per month). I received my bill dated October 11 and (while previously I paid the same) my bill was raised to $19.07 per month. I called customer service and was told they charge people different amounts for the paper. I asked how they could charge a different price for the same product and service. They just said they could. I asked for this in writing and they refused to provide this information in writing. I ended up cancelling my paper, which is sad since this is one of the ways to stay connected to my community. I read another review on **** where someone was paying $40+ a month. This price discrepancy is not ok. The people of Greeley deserve an honest and fair price for their paper.
