I had reserved a 3 night stay with my fiance at mountain Chalet Aspen fkr Christmas, from 24th till 26th. Unfortunately I had contracted Covid 19 on December 19 and tested positive. I had to cancel my flight,car rental and the hotel. In which all of them went through except the hotel. Since I bought/booked my trip through ******* I contacted them and all their efforts to get my money back was futile. The ******* customer service told me they had tried multiple times to reach out to the hotel manager and explain the reason for my cancelation was due to Covid. I had provided ******* with my test results (yes multiple positive tests) I tried calling the hotel directly and they put me on hold till I got disconnected. I tried one more time and spoke with a manager and ye said he has to ask someone and put me on hold and never picked up again. I called again but nobody even responded to my call. Also I disputed the money with my bank and they said they need more information, they gave me provisional credit and took it back couple of days ago which totally messed up all ky financial situation. Ky bank account is now in $ -700 and all my transactions are getting declined because of this mess. I want whatever possible to do to let the hotel know they can not mess with good citizens like this. Also I have told them about my covid 4 nights before my reservation, plenty of time for them too book it for someone else. Please do not hesitate to contact me about this. Thank you so much!
