      Awful experience. We rented a fork lift from Rob in FC. We rented on a Friday. It worked, at first, but then, stopped functioning entirely. After awhile, it would start if if you tried starting it for long periods of time and you had to pray it would start. We lost more than two days worth of time on our machine because it was set up for this specific project. We tried calling several times and our calls were not returned and the voice mailbox for Rob was full so we were unable to leave a message. When we finally got him on Sunday, he said he would not come to pick it up as they do not work on Sundays. They do charge for Saturday and Sunday, but they're not available to fix a broken machine nor will they pick it up. When I explained the machine was not working, Rob stated this was an, 'unforeseen' circumstance and offered a 10% refund. Our machine that was tied up due to their incompetence runs at $120 per hour. I finally called the main office and Dennis, the owner, made some excuses but did agree to only bill us for 2 days instead of 4. He did not offer any apologies nor acknowledge our lost income. Very sketchy and poor service. I would highly recommend being diligent about your dealings with Western Material, Western Engines and *******************.

      Stefanie, thank you for giving me a call today. As I mentioned on the phone, we are sorry that our rental forklift did not work properly which resulted in lost production time. We regret that it caused any problem at all. Obviously, we would not send out a forklift that was going to have a problem if we could predict that. And like you said, it worked fine the first day. Unfortunately, since we are not open on Saturday and Sunday, we were unable to repair or swap out the rental for you. When you gave me a call today, I asked you what would make it right and you said that you would like for the rental to be reduced to 2 days which I happily agreed to do. Unfortunately, the hauling and fuel charge is the same whether the rental was for a week or one day so that didn't change. We are sorry that you had a bad experience with one of our lifts and with our company. We have been in Ft Collins over 30 years and would love the chance to do business with your company again.       We were promised a refund and it was supposed to come by day's end on Tuesday. Today is Friday and we have yet to see that refund. My guess is it is some retaliatory move because we reported the business.
