The Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin awards scholarships to Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated character, leadership, and ethical values. The scholarships will be awarded for post-high school education at any Wisconsin-based accredited college beginning in the fall of 2018, including community colleges/technical colleges. As the scholarship recipients pursue their careers, BBB Serving Wisconsin hopes to develop future business leaders who will promote ethics in the Wisconsin marketplace.
Funding for the 2018 BBB Students of Integrity Scholarship Program is provided by the generous support of donors to Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin.
There are a total of 10 scholarships, each in the amount of $2,500.
To be eligible for this award, the student must:
Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of Wisconsin business leaders and members of the academic community, and scored based on five elements: Essay (50%), letters of reference (20%), community involvement/employment (10%), academics (15%) and first generation (5%).
Applications are due February 15, 2018 by 4:30 pm, including all letters of reference. Unfortunately, because of the volume of applications we receive, we aren't able to provide status updates. Recipients of 2018 scholarships will be contacted directly by BBB Serving Wisconsin.
Recognition of the scholarship recipients is coupled with the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics event luncheon on
May 16, 2018 at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee. This let’s the students see outstanding Wisconsin companies who are operating at a high ethical caliber. At the same, Torch Award winners meet outstanding future leaders within our communities.
