Worst customer service I have ever been a part of!! There was a live person I spoke with only to be told the 5th wheel hitch I had 4 other shops look at and tell me it was a manufacturer defect was an operator error. There was no interest at all in helping me resolve the issue...only to sell me a new hitch. I will never purchase a Curt hitch again

OOn my first attempt to order my hitch, the hitch that was delivered was for the wrong car. When I open the box, there was no hardware and no installation manual so I had to waste my time laying underneath the car trying to figure out what was wrong. I took the first one back and supposedly the correct one has just been delivered. Again, no hardware, no installation manual. The advertisement says easy install, bolts up to existing bolts, but there’s not even holes in those locations. Just spent 45 minutes on the telephone with Curt, and they refused to help me. They sent me back to advance auto parts to deal with people who are absolute morons and the girl on the telephone. There doesn’t even know what a trailer hitch is. I don’t think I’ll ever do business with either one of them again

We purchased a bike rack from CURT Manufacturing and the first time we used it the verticle post of the bike rack bent backwards, nearly causing us to lose one of our bikes. Our bikes were under the weight limit. We reached out to customer service 4 times and have not heard back from them. 3 emails and a phone call and still have not heard from the company. made contact with Curt several times to try and acquire several replacement parts for my trailer hitch. Their customer service was of no help. I was told to make contact with local dealers and order my "special parts" through them. I called everyone within my area and they all told me they could not do what the lady at Curt was requesting, ordering special parts. It's disappointing Curt will not help acquire the parts I need. you would think, if we are towing trailers and other items with a vehicle that is driven on the same roads their families are on, you would do everything to make things safe for the customer. safety should be number one and have parts readily available for any vendor to acquire.
