First off, if I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars, I would! I rented from Paul O******* for a year and a half. In this time, I had numerous issues while renting a lower apartment in Caledonia from him. First, CCAP him and see the lawsuit for unlawfully keeping security deposits! I should have not ignored the red flags at the walk thru with his condescending remarks and odd requests to take off shoes, wipe your feet off with your hands to keep you socks clean, etc. During my tenancy, my neighbor informed me she had a bed bug infestation that she was not going to inform Paul of in fear of being financially responsible. So I contacted Paul the next day by phone, followed up by more calls and voicemails then I can count, texts, pictures, written letters (also sent certfied to ensure he received them) as well as notes attached to my rent check over a period of 7 MONTHS with NO RESPONSE, EVER. During winter, I missed work and school 3 days because he couldn't get the parking lot plowed until after 1 in the afternoon. We had water and frogs ALL over the basement, which I also called him about with no response. I had an old bug infestation in my kitchen window that I found cleaning, and informed him of that, again, no response. He never picked up the tons of garbage laying along the entire side of the building from our little dumpster overflowing with garbage all the time. One small dumpster for 8 units that got dumped once a week! He never trimmed bushes around the building. Yet, this man has the audacity to call me, on my WORK phone while at work, to ask favors like, who is in this apartment, how many pets/kids, etc do I see. Do NOT rent from this guy! I had more communication with the Assistant Attorney General for his State of Wi case then I ever did with Paul. I did not feel safe and even had people try to get into my apartment on numerous occasions while I was at home at night. Rent from someone else!
