TERRIBLE customer service and awful product quality. They were 4 months late delivering pool tablets that I ordered in the summer. Then when they arrived, the entire 50 pound bucket of tablets was busted. most of the tablets were totally disintegrated into poweder that spilled out of the busted bags as soon as you removed them from the bucket. And then they refused to issue me a refund even though I sent pictures of the broken tablets!!! Unbelievable. Be warned. Buy elsewhere!!Review from Greg W

Most difficult return process on the planet. Trying to return a sand filter lateral that didnt fit, though their website listed it as fit for my filter. So, it was their mistake to begin with. Avoid this company!!Review from JANICE D

Do Not use this company. I bought a Harris 1.5hp proforce plus pool pump 11/25/2022. I used this pump for the summer of 2023 which was a total of 5 months tops. I started to open my pool this year 3/31/2024 and the pump just hums. I contacted Doheny's and they informed me that I had a year warranty on the pump. There is nothing they can do for me!! Absolutely unacceptable in my opinion. Poor customer service seems to be a repetitive review for this company. I would never recommend this company to anyone and will never buy from them again! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Review from Allen L

My advice to anyone looking for pool supplies or parts is to look elsewhere. They advertise one price and even confirm it over the phone but when you get the bill on your credit care it is much higher. When they are called on it they have some lame excuse that the catalog was wrong or outdated, or the first person you spoke to was not familiar to sale policies, etc, etc. I ordered 50 pounds of chlorine tablets for the sale price and was sent an email and text that I received 10% discount all any purchase over $100. The lady on the phone confirmed it and stated the bill on your credit care will not show the 10% discount price but then there will be a separate credit to your card.... ***!!! When I called back a different sales person stated that the 10% did not apply to items on sale and the lady was wrong in telling me that. I told him the 10% off coupon did not say anything about not applying to items on sale, and all his said was that was an error on their part. Did he give me the 10%.... NOOOO. I will buy my chlorine at ***** from now on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. This is the third time they screwed me. I have learned my lesson.Review from Steven L

The average life span of a quality pool pump is 5-7 years. This is the third DOHENY pump I've had in four years. The first one lasted 2.5 years. The second one was defective, and with a ton of coaxing, got them to send a replacement. The current one is just over a year old, and it died. when speaking to the "customer service" dept (********), they replied... "I'm sorry sir, but your warranty has expired, so your SOL... However, we'd like to sell you a better quality pump..!" I rest my case, your Honor... BUYER BEWARE !!!Review from Joshua T

My experience with Dohenys pool supplies has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased their water bags and a winter cover, and it's been a complete disaster from day one. To put it bluntly, every single water bag I received was a dud, with eight of them leaking right out of the box. When I reached out to their customer service for assistance, their response was utterly inadequate. They demanded photographs of the defective bags, which was a hassle in itself, and then had the audacity to ask me to mutilate these subpar bags by cutting out the spouts. To add insult to injury, they expected me to foot the bill for returning these garbage products. It's either a clear attempt to recycle and resell trash to more unsuspecting customers or a shocking display of ignorance regarding the abysmal quality of their merchandise. The products I received were not just disappointing; they were utterly worthless. My pool is now a chaotic mess because I trusted Dohenys to provide quality winter supplies. Despite my efforts, it seems they are not willing to offer a refund, which only further solidifies my belief that they have no regard for their customers. Judging by the numerous other negative reviews I've read, my experience appears to be par for the course with Dohenys. It's disheartening to think that this company not only fails to value its customers but also seems to revel in deceiving and essentially robbing them blind. They view every customer as a potential victim to exploit, and it's a disgrace. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential buyers to steer clear of Dohenys pool supplies. My ordeal has been a cautionary tale, and it seems that many others have suffered a similar fate. Do not buy anything from this company unless you know for sure you will not be returning it. I bought a solar cover from them and when I tried it on the pool it was too narrow. Because I did open it, they want to charge 40% restocking fee. How would I know there was going to be an issue unless I tried it.Also bought straps for the roller cover that are much too short to use and because it was under $30 they won't do a return.Could have bought everything from Amazon and returned with no problem.If I could give zero stars I wouldReview from John E

Great customer service. Received a 50ld bucket damaged by shipping. After contacting Dohany about the damage, they asked for a few pictures. After receiving the pictures, they shipped replacment pucks damaged by the shipper. You don't get service that address your issues so fast and with out issues. My thanks.Review from Jere H

First time purchase. Winter cover and water bags together. Water bags leaking after 3 weeks. I told them what size was leaking. Customer service said I needed to take pictures and send them before they will replace them. Lousy customer service approach. I could understand if they wanted to pay to have them shipped back for quality control; but I need the tubes now; not after they look at pictures of the same tube they already sell.Review from Jennie B

Poor customer service! Not worth the money! Warranty is a hoax! I purchased a cover for my above ground pool. It he cover was trash from the moment we opened it. The cable provided was to short to wrap around the pool. The eye holes for the cable we smashed and bent. The cover had holes in it. So they sent me a replacement at no charge. We cover the pool from 10/2022 to 4/2023. Folded the cover placed it in storage and went to cover the pool 10/2023 and the seam was coming apart. This cover was not cheap and has a 10 year warranty. However that warranty is apparently prorated. We literally only were able to cover our pool for 6 months and they claim we have used it for 2 seasons. Also they prorate the value of the cover based off of the season used and to get a replacement cover we would basically pay the same price that we paid for the first cover. Which again I would add was the worst quality. I would not recommend this company for pool covers at all!
