Friday 12-24-21, a serviceman from *** arrived to repair the blower wheel on the furnace. The serviceman replaced the squirrel cage blower wheel with an old wheel from 2008. He stated that the wheel is temporary and that he would return on Monday to install the correct Factory OEM wheel. The furnace did not operate smoothly with a slight vibration but, it was acceptable temporally. On Monday, December 26th, the repairman called me to tell me that he could install the new blower wheel but it would cost and additional $500. I disputed that because it was not what he told me on Saturday. The wheel that he installed is a 11x ****************** 2008. The York OEM wheel is an 11x11. I called the *** office and disputed the $500 extra charge with the office manager, ****, and he claimed that the temporary blower wheel is an acceptable substitute. That *** would not install a factory OEM wheel unless I pay an additional $500. He even argued that my furnace is too old and that I need a new furnace. My receipt when I paid $501.13, states that *** will come back on Monday to install the correct OEM blower wheel. There is not any mention of an additional charge. Towards the end of January, the furnace began to vibrate even more, but it was difficult to find a contractor to come here to do the repair because they do not want to get mixed up in a legal dispute. Eventually I found a contractor to install a factory York OEM wheel 11x11, and he recommended to replace the motor as well because the motor shaft may have been bent when the temporary wheel by *** was installed.The cost to install the correct factory OEM blower wheel and replacement motor is a total of 119+$414 + $316= $849.The temporary blower wheel and apparently defective that *** installed caused damage to my furnace. I am asking that *** refund the $501. that I paid them.

Horrible, horrible, horrible company!! Do not use this company for any service at all I wouldn’t even allow them to check my mail!! The worst experience with any company I’ve ever dealt with! If you like to waste your hard earned money then go right ahead and this regard this review. I had them install a brand new central air unit with electric and the very next summer there was a problem with it. They came out and said there was a coolant leak and they repaired it. (Why can you guys not install and check for proper leaks when installed) The following year (May of 2022) my wife turns it on and it sounds like ***** They come out and check it and it’s completely out of Freon (thought they fixed the leak) and they claim it’s because the unit wasn’t cleaned every year (2 yr old unit) and coils are dirty which caused it to lose Freon. He basically tells me I need a brand new unit and it will be another $2,500. I knew they were getting over and it was a fault on their end from the last repair of Freon leak so I called Roman Electric for a 2nd opinion. They came out and said there’s no way in hell a 2 year old unit will lose all the refrigerant because of dirty coils said I should call the original guys (drs cooling & heating) to come check for leaks. I called and spoke to the manager and let me tell you it was the worst customer service I ever experienced in my entire life. He basically denied everything and said they never came out to fix a leak the year before and hung up in my face! This company is ran very unprofessional, unethical, and is a complete scam to get people’s hard earned money with no remorse! If I can give this company negative one million stars I would! Do me and yourself a favor and save yourself emotional & financial stress by dealing with this company!

He's allowed his opinion but that's all it is. We have pictures and ***************** the way we said it. He just doesn't want the responsibility of him not making sure the ac was cleared away before turning it on. The ac was packed solid of dirt and debris. We or him can't make that up. Sorry. We won't keep working for free due to his neglecting of ac maintenance. We cleared it away the year before for free. It ran fine until the next year we're he did it again...
