Phillip B. I had a problem with my Air Conditioner...We talked about a new unit...They promised me installation dates...I worked VERY HARD to get the basement ready for the installation. I called them five days before the agreed upon installation date to sign a contract based on prior concerns ...a date I received three weeks ago...They informed me that since I had not signed a contract that those dates were no longer available and that if I wanted the installation I would have to wait an additional three weeks...This is clearly a search for cash with installs going to the highest bidder...Hand shakes need not apply...At no time was I called or Gmailed to inform me of the change in the installation date...Not until I called them...Now I have to bake for another three weeks...even if I find someone else to do the job...NOT GOOD ! ...

This is one of the more interesting jobs. We went out last year twice, once to replace a part on a very old unit and the second time to "fix" the *** homeowner repair. We had three scheduled estimates, all canceled by the homeowner. In between the dates of those canceled estimates he stopped by our office and had a very lengthy conversation with our staff wanting to know all the ins and outs of his project. Keep in mind we have never been there for an estimate. He wanted some dates held which we did but he canceled the following estimates. He stopped at distributors to also discuss his options. Once the canceled estimate happened the temporary dates were removed. After that he talked again with our office, booked another estimate, then said that he would only sign a day before the project with no down payment. This is not how a normal business operates that is weeks booked out. Standard process, first, schedule and complete estimate, second sign and pay down payment, and third, have the project completed. Another fun fact, this project included removing a 50+ year old low boy furnace, AC, water heater, duct work and moving to the other side of the basement along with a few other items I do not know since we have not been there.
