I filed a warranty claim on Dec 22, 2023(Case *******) with Generac to get my Craftsman Portable Generator model C0010020 (Craftsman warranty is 3 years and claims are serviced by Generac at ************ or ********************************************* and still is not resolved. The last communication from Generac was on 2/16 when I was told the case was sent to case review and would be 3-4 days for resolution since they received feedback from the repair contractor(Clean Rite @ ************) that the generator was unrepairable and came that way out of the box. Since then, I have been calling back numerous times, only to be told it still shows in case review and that the only person that can help is "********" and she is not returning any messages from the Generac representatives, or voice mails I have left for her over the past 7 days. I was also informed there is no path for escalation, other than for the representative to file internally, which I was told they did twice which was supposed to notify ******** and her management. We are on the 3rd month with no resolution from Generac and I would like this resolved asap with a refund or new replacement. (Note Generac had me contact 7 repair locations on their list before we found one that services this model generator so I'm concerned if a replacement is defective I'll have to go through this again) . The unit was purchased on 4/5/2023 for $501.39 new at Woot.com and not opened until Dec when I lost power & needed to use the generator for the first time, and it did not work out of the box.
