Yes, this is an old company which has been in the garage business for long time. Always every home builders use their products or their services. Yes, their products are good and initial installation service is good. No complaint. However, I would like to share my experience of their so-called "emergency service". It is a complete opposite. There is an emergency service sticker with their phone number placed on each garage door which is a wonderful thing they do - to give the owner a peace of mind when something has happened to the garage door, they "should" be there to help us to fix the door. Our garage door has broken twice suddenly and accidentally. First time the spring suddenly broke and the garage door was half opened. It was a weekday evening. Second time we accidentally drove the car into the garage when it was not fully opened, so the door was stuck in halfway. It was a weekend morning. These are obviously emergency situation. We called them according to the sticker number. Guess what, they have no people working at nighttime (the first time) and no people working at weekend (the second time). They told me to call back to following day at regular business hour. This is "emergency"!!! For both time, I had to look at google and found a different garage door which truly provided emergency service. Both other companies were so good and they came the same day/night to fix out door immediately. Life saver. I was also told from the other companies, they have got many service calls with the same situation which is lifetime door company "fails" to provide emergency service. So my opinion is, yes, it is fine to use this company to install your garage door, but NEVER use their service especially the so-called emergency service. Lifetime door company DOES NOT deserve a A+ score from BBB and DOES NOT deserve a 5 stars rating. Lifetime door company should be re-evaluated by BBB.
