Bought a snowboard binding whose buckle broke the first day of use, Evo refused to refund in original payment method but a gift card. However they kept the tax i paid and said tax is not refund for warranty claim. Evo customer service is falling downEvo Response

When a item fails it's extremely disappointing. We like to work with the manufacture to get replacement parts whenever possible. In this case our customer was not interested in waiting for that option so we offered issuing a gift card which was accepted without complaint. We're sorry to now learn that this was a disappointment.
The over sight on sales tax was definitely a mistake on our end, which we have now corrected by adding that balance to the gift card. We are happy to see that this gift card has been used toward a new purchase. If there is anything more we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Their B&B store is good, but their online store is pesky. They lure you into subscribing to their website with a 15% off first order ad. What they don't tell you, except tucked away on a separate page is that it only works on full priced items. They need to be honest and upfront about this instead of intentionally omitting it to trick customers. What's worse, they spam you like no other once they get their hands on your email. In less than 24 hours since I placed my first order, I've been bombarded by 4 spam emails! Unsubscribe doesn't do anything. I contacted them and insisted that they manually removed my email. They said they did so and that I would not receive any more spam. A few hours later, I was hit by another spam email from them. This makes me not want to do any business with this company altogether.Evo Response

We sincerely apologize for the unwanted emails. We do offer an unsubscribe link with each, and those requests are honored. The process does often take up to 24 hours to update all systems. Those details should have been explained when you contacted our team, but could have been missed.

Horrible company - absolutely dont buy from EVO Sporting. I ordered item 12/2/22, they took funds from account 12/9/22 and then I made a series of calls asking where is my order. I called 4 times, lied to 4 times saying items being shipped *** overnight. ALL LIES. This is a company that takes your money, uses it for whatever, and never ships your order. They dont email you and you cant get through to management. Lies, lies, lies when you call them direct. Still trying to get my refund for missing order which was never shipped out at all. !!!! We encountered some pretty substantial issues with our warehouse inventory management software in late 2022. As a result, many orders were delayed and in some cases they had to be canceled as a result. All unshipped orders were refunded in full. Apologies and discounts toward a future purchase were also issued.
We learned some valuable lessons through that event and are pleased to have been able to successfully move forward.

Three weeks since order, multiple requests for updates - auto response saying they are busy. Well I'm sorry business is good! You took my order and payment, fulfill my order. If you're not capable of doing so, then don't take the money. GREED!Evo Response

We encountered some pretty substantial issues with our warehouse inventory management software in late 2022. As a result, many orders were delayed. The confusion our customers faced caused a rush of contacts that our team was unable to keep up with. It was a very unfortunate set of circumstances.

I have been dealing with a return that shows it was delivered to their warehouse on January 13. I called and asked how the refund process works and when I will receive it and they said they were very short-staffed and that **** packages a day being returned and inspected and issued refunds so to the patient. I was patient for over 4 weeks and I contacted the 24th regarding the issue and wanted to hear an update since it was taking so long and i received this email word for word, " I regret to inform you that we are not able to process a refund for you at this time, as your items have not arrived back to us, even though the tracking shows they did. If you wish to dispute this with your bank, you may do so, but otherwise, you will need to wait until all of the items have been received at Evo before we can process anything." This is so unfair becasue i had initialyl had purchased these items for this year's snow season but something hapend with my pet and i had to return the items expecting my refund to be processed. I need my refund asap and wish i was treated better as a customer who has purchased from ********************** multiple times.Evo Response

At first glance we noticed this return showed 'delivered' and we are backed up with heavy volume and limited staff. We asked for patience. As the request for a refund continued we looked closer and found some concerning details. First, this return is for a variety of large items, including a snowboard, which required two boxes to be delivered. Yet only one return shipping label was used. Second, we supplied a return label to return the items to ******, ** but package (1Z8686999097423466) was delivered to ******, **. We attempted to get some basic details with regard to how and where the package was returned, but those details were not provided while other inconsistencies surfaced. Unfortunately return fraud has become a more regular occurrence. In order to protect both evo and the card holder, we have suggested that we allow the package investigation with *** be completed. If that option is not satisfactory, the cardholder may dispute the charge with their bank. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.Review from C. S.

I returned an item and it was acknowledged on Jan 4. Called 2 weeks later to find out why I have not received credit to my AMEX and was told they were still processing returns that came in on Dec 22. It is now Jan 31 and still no credit. This is just unacceptable business practice. This is my first and last experience with EVO. My next call is to AMEX to dispute this charge and make them aware of this retail experience as well. This company's a bit too laid back when it comes to be accountable.Evo Response

If you're in ****** and buy more than 1 item I wouldn't recommend. Bought my first snowboard, bindings, and goggles which were shipped in 2 seperate orders which means..... double customs. I was fine with paying customs but I didn't expect to pay it twice for just one order. So now $130 shipping became $180. ****** learned, buy locally. Will not be using this service again and would recommend all *********/ non-Americans not to use this company either. Can't even return it because I'll have to pay shipping on that too.
