My name is ************************* ******, I am writing you to tell you about my situation. In 2013 I had moved to **************** and got at job here in ******* at Sunrise Services INC as a live in caregiver for 3 1/2 years working 80 hours a week. I resigned from Sunrise in 2016 because i refused to work for a company who neglected the needs of their clients. However this is not why i am contacting you, I am contacting you because a few months ago I have received a call from *********************** (the mother of a client i use to work for at sunrise). She asked me if sunrise was charging me rent when i was employed there, I had explained to her that I am not sure I would have to pull my statements from sunrise. I had asked her what was the reasoning behind this, she stated that the coworker who came in after me was being charged rent and that she had specifically purchased this house so that the caregivers wouldnt have to pay rent. I had explained to her that i had suspicions about my paystubs but when i asked the accountant at sunrise about it they couldnt explain it to me. ***** had set up a meeting with ********************* (the owner of Sunrise Services INC) to explain why i was even being charged rent when the company didnt even own the home they were charging rent from. Not only that, they werent even paying the homeowner rent from the money they were taking from the live-in caregivers. In fact the owner stated that she hasnt received rent from sunrise in over 10 years. *** Clossor reimbursed the other caregiver for the money they charged her for, but because I havent worked for sunrise in over 4 years they refused to reimburse me for the 3 years they took out of my check. Saturday 01/29/22 I had received a settlement from *** Clossor stating that she would pay me ***** for only 2016 but not 2015 0r 2014. I had explained to her that I would like no less than ****** since the company already had took over 20k out of check for rent. Unfortunately she withdrew her offer. Horrible
