    I originally chose to work with Lisa because she had some great reviews. My experience with her was not great. I met with her for an interview, and she spent the first ten minutes talking about religion and her other clients. When we finally got around to her asking questions about me, she took a lot of notes and asked some good follow up questions. I let her know when the position I wanted to apply for was closing and she charged me an additional fee to meet that deadline as it was shorter than her normal turnaround time. I agreed and paid the additional fee immediately. She sent me a resume and cover letter the day the position closed. The quality of the work was astonishingly poor. The cover letter was not usable, mentioned my prior cancer diagnosis which was not relevant to the position. There were grammatical mistakes and sentences that didn't make sense. She had assured me that the cover letter would mention key words from the job posting, and none were there. The resume she "created" was my exact resume with the same wording in a different format, and with pertinent information removed, and useless information included. When I reached out to her expressing my disappointment in the poor quality of the resume and cover letter, she blamed me for it, claimed everything written was what I verbally told her and she simply typed it out for me, and that she would edit it for me (a day after the position closed). I requested a refund and she refused, then eventually offered me 50% of the $520 she charged me, but then shorted me on the refund she promised. Communicating with Lisa was awful. She blamed me for causing her to have to rush her work, for not giving the process time to engage in back and forth, for not asking her for edits, and claimed I misconstrued what she promised. I would strongly advise against using her for any service, as she does not appear to be a professional in any way. The quality of work was equivalent to a that of a high school student with C grade.

    I always specify my business policy to my prospective clients. Here's what it says. "Please read all this information very carefully, as this email serves as a binding agreement between us. As part of my business policy, I start with work after receipt of payment, and after I get all the information I need for the Resume-Cover Letter. My turnaround time is 15-20 business days; Day 1 starts the first business day after the payment is made, and after I get the information I requested for. If payment is made after banking hours, the date of payment is counted for the next business day, and therefore, Day 1 starts on the business day after that. Any delay in turning over of information I need may delay the process. Any information submitted after a month of payment is considered a new project, and will therefore require an additional fee. I have a "no refund" policy. However, as a client, you are entitled to revisions for your Resume-Cover Letter. The free revision is offered only within the following conditions: that the revision is not due to the mistake of the client such as wrong or missing information given to consultant; that the revision does not go against any grammatical standard and rule; that the revision does not change/alter the number of pages and layout of the material; that the revision is only limited to three revisions; that the revision does not require any other version outside of Microsoft Word and PDF; and that the revision is through email communication only and does not include an ‘in person’ meeting. Please bear in mind that as a Resume Writer, I can only work with whatever information you give me. This free revision is only good within a period of one month. Any correction after that, unless it is minor, will be subject to additional fees. The revision can take 1-5+ business days, depending on my work load at the time that your email for revision comes in. I suggest emailing me for revisions as soon as possible, so I can prioritize your request." She agreed to work with me knowing my conditions. I offered not only to revise the documents I sent her but to create a new one for her. She didn't want it. She demanded full refund and nothing else, and even threatened me and demeaned me and my work. I've been in this business for a long time and I've never encountered anyone like her. I gave her a 50% discount, based on what ****** paid me. She complained that it was not 50% and when I explained to her that it was 50% of the payment I got from ******, she called me a swindler, after already calling me names. I can't believe that she works for 911 and claims to be a Therapist. I only talked about relationship with God, not religion, because she talked about her battle with cancer. She also talked about how she used to go to church. It was a mutual conversation. I was ready to pay her back in full, just to buy my peace, but thank God she left this comment. I can't believe there's a person like her.
