    I am a previous employee, and two weeks into employment I suffered near fatal injuries from a car accident, including a coma, 7 surgeries, and paraplegia. My second day being awake, my manager called and said my position would wait for me for when I am ready to return. I was on bed rest for 3 months at which the showroom remained understaffed, kindly holding my place. I returned with a doctors note giving me the ok to return, but leniency needed for absences due to pain flair **** I was returning 3-5 days a week, exceeding the expectation. Two months passed and upon arriving to work early one morning, a neighboring employee accused my car of spitting rocks at his vehicle. I offered to let insurance handle it and he became irate and started to try and take my side mirror off my car. I reported this to my manager. He was sympathetic and told me I am an outstanding employee, and despite the stress of my recent disability, I never bring problems to work, I often impress him with how well I perform given my situation. I asked for the security footage, and he happily agreed to obtain it. A few days later I suffered a fall and went immediately to the ** where my doctor informed me I need hip replacement surgery (I'm 35). I let my work know right away as I would need a few weeks off after to recover for post op. I was then informed by a fellow employee about the footage, being obtained and deleted. I confronted the manager via text message over the weekend and he insisted it was not his business therefore will have nothing to do with it. I advised him I was his employee and I was threatened on company property, and he continued to disagree, repeatedly and rudely. Despite needing the footage for ins., and police, he said it's not his problem. Monday I called in, due to pain flair, which my manager then advised me I was being let go because my position required my presence full time. Despite the company holding my job for 3 months, & accepting the doctors note upon return.
