I am an insurance agent and I had mutual client with this company. about 1~2 months before the renewal, an agent called me and told that gross income is required for the audit premium. I assumed it was for 2022~2023 because 2023 renewal is coming up. But she applied it to 2021 when the client suffered due to pandemic. I and the clients later found out that and requested to fix it. When I explained the situation, she was not very cooperative. I sent her the documents, but it was wrong ones, but she did not tell me if it was the right one or not. After sending several emails, she finally responded just saying it is not the right one. So, I spoke with client's accountant, and she provided it to me. I forwarded it, but the agent kept saying it is not the right one. I assumed that she did not even often the file. I explained that all the information is included. Shortly after sending those documents, I received an email form 3rd party audit company requesting 2022~2023 document for the same client and confirmed that I sent was the acceptable. So, I sent email to the agent to see if it was forwarded, (at some point she never responded to my email, so it was forwarded to another agent), and the other agent emailed back to me that it was forwarded but also said because the client already paid it, it is hard to get a refund. I also asked if there is confirmation that the audit company received the documents, both of them did not answer. and it has been almost more than 2 weeks. Even though they made a mistake, why all the burden is on us to resolve this issue.
