            I have thrown out all documentation for this purchase after contacting Hormel customer service via their online site and phone. I purchased a Hormel Ham dated October 17, 2023 - use by November 24th I think. It was pre sliced and warmed it according to directions. I did not use the sauce packet that came with it. The ham was extremely fatty and did not slice properly but we had it for dinner thinking it would be okay. Both my husband and I became very ill overnight (bad stomach issues) that went away in the morning after we were sick all night. I threw the ham out as it was the only thing we ate that could have caused it. After talking to Hormel's customer service I expected a refund or a coupon for another ham. Instead I received a letter telling me their products are perfect and go through rigorous testing and there is no way we could have had an adverse reaction to anything they produce because no one else had reported anything. No refund no apology no coupon - just a letter basically calling me a liar.
