Paid them to do a job, admittedly 2 years ago that was overall about 24k including lots of other work, but recently found out by having my truck taken to another shop that they didn't even complete the work I paid them to do. I paid them to install some custom valve covers on my truck, and as part of that work a custom bracket is required to support the stock turbos. The ** advised me they could do the work, and apparently they sent my truck out of their shop missing 1 of the valve cover bolts as the other shop is saying it can't even be installed due to the way the brackets are, and will require some custom work to fix... This is technically a cab off job which I already paid Plateau to do that custom work.**** (shop manager I've been told, claims to be owner) apparently thinks this is an ok thing for a shop to do, and stated I was making a big deal out of 1 bolt... but, that 1 bolt is preventing the valve covers from sealing properly, allowing oil to leak out and burn off. **** also chastised me for not taking it back sooner, so they could address it under warranty, but the issue didn't arise until now, so I couldn't have done that.I only wanted plateau to make it right and complete the work I paid them to do. **** argued with me on the phone, so I said if i have to get a lawyer I will, he said go ahead... so i'm reaching out to lawyers as I'm filing this complaint.
