    Pearson Chiropractic purchased Kriss Chiropractic around the beginning of 2022. At that time i had an outstanding billing reimbursement due to me of $1,400. I have emails and documentation from both practices. Since then Kriss Chiropractic has dissolved and can no longer be reached at the email provided for ************** by Pearson Chiropractic. The only billing department in tact to resolve this matter is that of Pearson Chiropractic. Despite numerous phone calls and email correspondence with both ******************************* his billing manager, ******* as well as front desk personnel, Pearson Chiropractic refuses to pay the monies owed. Upon consultation, it is our understanding that in an instance of an acquisition/purchase of another practice, the purchasing party inherits both the selling businesses assets and liabilities. Leaving myself and several other patients left with thousands if dollars of monies owed is not okay and for that reason we wile a formal complaint. Taking advantage of patients is not okay. I do not know if it is because i am female, Latina or over age 40, but regardless of protected class, it is not okay. Background on the billing issue:************** front office told us they do not accept out insurance. We paid out of pocket. Upon researching with out Insurance provider, it was found that Kriss Chiropractic did in fact accept our insurance. It was explained to us that for whatever reason our Insurance was not one the front desk could select from in the drop down menu and that it needed to be added. This is the time the acquisition took place. At one point we received an email stating we would receive partial payment from **************. Yo date, no monies have been received/deposited. Not only that, Dr. *********************** office continues to provide us with an email address for ************** that has since been deactivated, leaving us no choice but to reach out to the BBB as a next attempt to resolve this.
