Worst experience ever. They don't return calls and service was terrible. They've had my car for 2 weeks to repair something they messed, then realized they bought the wrong part.GT Auto Sales Response

First of all, I apologize for the inconvenience, distress, or problems created by ******************** headlight malfunction.
We take great care to ensure that important matters such as this are properly managed, although due to shortages in part supplies and delays in delivery we have not met this consumer expectations.
GT Auto replaced the driver's side Adaptive Headlight in August 2023, at the time of repair the headlight was functioning properly. On or around October 19th, 2023, two months after the headlight replacement consumer bought the vehicle back stating the adaptive headlight warning light was on. During diagnostics GT Auto was able to confirm owners concerns and found that the driver's side headlight had been damaged and now had water intrusion damaging to the adaptive module resulting in the warning light.
After discussing with ****************, GT Auto agreed to replace the adaptive headlight under "Goodwill," however we do not stock parts and depend on deliveries, due to supply shortages and delays in deliveries repair times have increased to ***** days. Upon replacing the Adaptive headlight and attempting to confirm that the part was functioning properly, it was noted that the warning light was still illuminated and removal of the module from the headlight indicated that the wrong parts were shipped.
**************** was telephoned immediately after speaking with the parts supplier and obtaining an estimated time frame for the correct part to be delivered. It was explained to the consumer that the non-adaptive headlight is still in the vehicle and functions, but it is not adaptive so the lights will have to be turned on and off. Customer agreed to return with the vehicle on or around November 8, 2023, to have the non-adaptive headlight swapped out with the adaptive headlight.
Unfortunately, we must rely on the services of others to complete some repairs and as a result were unable to succeed in meeting consumer expectations.

Unethical and unprofessional. Genuinely the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I am still in shock at the behavior and lack of honesty and ownership from **** and *****. I own a specialty car dealership in Oregon. When buying cars for myself or my wife we often look for something very specific or a special, hard-to-find color or trim level. In this case, GT Auto Sales had the exact Range Rover my wife had been looking for so we made an offer through a dealer-to-dealer site called OVE (part of Manheim). After a couple of counter offers by **** we had a deal and I completed the purchase. **** promptly sent me a message congratulating me and even sent me some additional photos and videos I had requested and told me he was glad my wife would be getting this nice Range Rover. I told him I would contact my shipper to schedule a time to pick it up right away. This all took place on Sat, 12/4 at 11:58am. My shipper was finally able to send a driver to get the Range Rover on Friday, 12/10. I had not heard anything from the dealer since purchasing the car so assumed all was well and they were simply waiting for us to come get it. Upon arrival, the shipper was told the vehicle was no longer there and that they didn't own it. I immediately called **** who told me he was on vacation but would call his general manager to find out what happened. I then received a call from ***** who told me he sold the Rover to someone else, financed it and delivered it. Obviously in utter confusion I asked how that was possible as I had purchased the car a week ago and paid for it. ***** claimed he was off the day **** sold it to me but he had a deposit on it from the day before - which in different conversations he said was Friday and other times he said was Saturday. After pressing him for more information over two different phone conversations his memory of events changed again and he said he actually delivered the car to the new buyer on Sat, 12/4 - the day I bought the car. I said that wasn't possible as that was the day I purchased it and **** sent me the photos and videos taken in the dealer lot. He then said maybe it was Sunday when he delivered it but went back and forth on the details a few times and seemed either confused or cagey. When I said I was working with the owner, ****, and was shocked he hand't put a sold sign on the car or alerted his staff he had sold it prior to leaving on vacation, ***** replied that **** was not the owner but just the buyer. When I pressed him on this again he eventually said **** was the owner. I then clarified, "so you're saying **** is the ***** OF GT AUTO SALES?" and he replied "oh, no he is actually the owner's son." At this stage my anger and frustration was growing as I was basically getting the run around. I then asked to speak with the actual owner, ************, and was told "no, he has nothing to do with it" and refused to give me the owner's information. I asked ***** what his title was and what level of responsibility he had at the dealership. At first he told me he was the *** then in a later conversation he said, " hey I'm just a sales guy here." I tried repeatedly to get in touch with **** who ignored my calls and texts, only replying briefly to say "I'm out of the country and don't have service, talk to *****" (although he clearly had cell service), while ***** would say he could do nothing without ****** approval. Round and round this went on all day Friday. As of writing this review on Mon, 12/13, I still own the Range Rover - it is on my dealership line of credit - and apparently someone else also owns it as well and is driving it around and enjoying it. Manheim assures me they will refund all of my money yet it has been sitting on my line collecting interest for 9 days. I have never received a call or message back since Friday, nor an apology or any further explanation of events. The ** of *************** said he would "make some calls" but there was likely nothing he could do either.
