      I have been a customer of ********************** for ** years, paying monthly for a wellness health plan for my dog. When moving from ****** to ************, I discovered that the nearest location to ************ was in *******, an hour drive. It was not ideal to have to drive my senior dog a round trip of 2 hours for healthcare multiple times a year, but I did it because I was reassured several times that the company was going to be opening a facility in ************. My senior dog is no longer able to ride in the car, so I found a place locally that does house visits, coming to our location, with a similar wellness plan. When I tried to cancel with Banfield, they said I would be charged $288 due to the fact that we did a wellness visit in March, and I hadn't paid enough this year to compensate them for that visit. When I originally signed up 12 years ago, that wasn't the agreement. I was to pay on a monthly basis every month, and would bring the dog in when Banfield said that she was due for care and/or vaccinations. I feel that I shouldn't be penalized $288 for finding a vet that can care for my dog at home, when it is no longer feasible to subject her to a long car ride at her age. I called Banfield 3 different times, but each time was told that a manager was not available to discuss this issue with me. After being such a loyal, long-term customer of **********************, I feel they should waive the $288 fee that they are trying to penalize me with for leaving.

      I had fraud on my account and didn't realize my payment came directly out from that account.They called me repeatedly to make an appointment for my dogs. Never once mentioned I had a balance. When I showed up they embarrassed me in front of other people. They told me to call a number to rectify the situation. I did immediately. They were charging me almost double the amount due. I made a payment that day. They said I could make payments. Hours went by and I called to see if my dogs were ready. They told me unless I paid in full they were not treating my dogs.They never answer the phone. Never once did they reach out to me via call, text, email or mail to let me know I had a past due balance.I will be taking them to small claims court. The are horrible and not compassionate at all!
