My wife took our dog to them in an emergency situation as he was having trouble standing/sitting. They told them the wait was 2-3 hours up front and she(we) were ok with that. They saw them pretty quickly but then dropped the ball. The dr came in quickly and went over everything with my wife and told her what she would like to do, my wife explained that she would like to hold off on any treatments not really necessary especially x-rays as she(we) were going to follow up with our Vet on Monday, we agreed to the blood tests. The dr left the room stating the staff would bring in a workup of estimates on charges, this NEVER happened, and we didn't see any charges until she paid. She overheard the staff talking about other pets and treatments as well as hearing the dr tell the staff my wife's wishes and followed it up with a "blah blah blah" statement. The dr came back in the room 3.5 hrs later and had done all the tests including the xrays she was asked not to do. The dr then said she would give my dog the pain/antiinflammatory needed and release him, another 1.5 hours passed and my wife saw no one. She finally started knocking on the door trying to get someone so she could get our dog and go home. When she said "I just want my dog so I can go home" the staff labeled her as "irate" and "huffing and puffing" which she was not and did not, she was emotional because they left her in a prison cell size room for 5 hrs with only 2 visits from the dr and then chose without permission to do and charge whatever they wanted. Had the staff chosen to talk with my wife instead of talking about it while she could overhear this could have ended differently. We have asked for the records and are still waiting for a complete set including the xrays preferably without the staff's exaggerated opinions (very unprofessional) on them this time.
