Jim and Chris have been excellent financial partners. My husband and I managed our investments on our own throughout most of our working careers. When I was approaching retirement, we decided to let PIFP take over. It was the best decision we could have made. They take a personal interest in our family and provide solid advice for the future needs of our heirs. Tax management is important and Chris shows us how to minimize taxes. I recommended PIFP to family members even before we started working with the firm.Review from Jack O

My wife and I have been very satisfied clients of Partners in Financial Planning for a little over 22 years. The investment advice and other financial services we have received during this time have enabled us to plan confidently and effectively for our retirement years (we are both in our early eighties). The level of professionalism and competence among the employees is clearly evident, and we have never thought, even once, about seeking financial services elsewhere. We are satisfied in every respect with Partners in Financial Planning and have recommended them to our daughter and granddaughter. They, and their husbands, are now also very satisfied clients of PIFP. Our primary contact is Pam *******, who is always easily accessible, patient, and interested in us as people and not just as clients. I started with Jim almost 20 years ago and transferred with him when he and Pam opened PIFP. Today, Jim and Chris are the bedrock of my family's financial planning program. With their help, I am now comfortably retired and feeling about as good as one can with respect to a retirement portfolio. They bring a common sense approach to investing and preparing for financial independence. It takes a bit to get one's head wrapped around their approach of long-term investing without the constant trading that many of us learned 40+ years ago. I could not be more satisfied with their advice, support, and guidance. Indeed, we are so satisfied that I recommended PIFP to my middle aged daughter and husband. Jim and his staff are awesome. They take care of everything and keep me abreast of what is going on. I can text or email them any time and day and I get a response (from a human not a BOT). A smaller firm working with large firms makes you a person with a name not a number. Then they work with many others to make sure your funds are invested properly and match your investment goals. I have been with them since early 2000 and don't think about changing firms!!Review from Bob F

We've worked with Partners in Financial Planning since 2006. I'd been doing it on my own and decided I should stick to my own profession and hire financial professionals. Best decision ever. Jim and Todd listen carefully to our goals, wants and needs, and have constructed a portfolio that not only saw us through the 2008 nonsense, but that has actually increased in value since I retired 5 years ago. We have comprehensive meetings, and I like the fact that I can ask a question any time, and no matter how lame the question, I get an honest, thoughtful answer. And you can't beat the fee-only aspect. You know your cost up front, and there's no gratuitous churning of the account to generate trade commissions and the like. I have been working with Jim Pearman and company for 33 years now; it’s hard to believe. But when you find something that works and works well, then you stay with it. They have helped me handle life’s events from death in the family to paying for graduate school. They have prodded me to action when I’ve needed it, and reminded me to stick to our plan when the market seems only to be going down. They are patient teachers and have always kept my goals at mm the heart of our planning. It was scary learning to let a group of strangers handle my money. But I have found the company to be honest, ethical, and caring about their clients. I believe that you will not find a better group of people with whom to work.Review from David R

David * I transferred the management of my retirement funds to PFP when it began operations more than a decade ago and have had no reason to look back. Pam (now in conjunction with Chris) understand my risk tolerance as well as my financial requirements and have run my account accordingly, educating me along the way as needed. Their results have matched or surpassed my needs and expectations year after year. They (as well as Jim) and their staff have also provided every ancillary service that I could expect from a major family of funds such as ******** or **** *****. And PFP's fees are very competitive. I have recommended PFP, with enthusiasm, to friends, colleagues, and former students, who have pronounced themselves as satisfied as I am.Review from Brian R

I have been a DIY'er for 30 years and viewed handing my financial life over to someone else. Chris and Seth were both patient and understanding of my thoughts, concerns and how to move forward. They answered all of our questions and provided us with the confidence that we are in good hands. Deciding to work with a Financial Planner is long overdue and will allow my wife and I with the opportunity to focus on living life and enjoying our retirement. One of the best decisions we have made! Do the same and you will not be disappointed.
