      I made an order for 1 gallon of olive oil on their website...I immediately got a return e-mail saying my order was on hold and "under review" until payment had been verified. To me this was ridiculous as the charge had already made it to my credit card...I took the "on hold and under review" as code for "we have your order and your money and we'll get around to fulfilling your order when convenient for us" as has been my experience with many online vendors. Not liking the sound of that I immediately cancelled the order with the intention of purchasing olive oil elsewhere. I hadn't heard back from anyone by the next morning at 4am when I got out of bed and just to make sure I emailed them a second time...again letting them know I had changed my mind and to please cancel the order...this was before they even opened for business the following day. Lo and behold a miracle took place and they wrote back saying that the order was already bottled, packaged, and waiting the imminent arrival of the Canpar truck to pick it up and it was too late to cancel the order. This was after telling me that the order was on hold and under review and after I had already sent them two emails cancelling the order before they were opened for business that day. This was an obvious attempt to pressuring me to accept the order and I was having none of it. Six days later they have collected my money...they have not issued a refund...a terrible way to do business...I'm convinced I made the right call in cancelling the order I had made immediately after making it...I don't need the ordeal of dealing with companies like this. Now I've been in touch with my credit card company to recoup the money they evidently intend on keeping...BEWARE! ***************************************************************

      Reed, we had already poured your gallon. It states explicity on our website that all orders once placed are fresh poured and given its food product we do not offer refunds. Yes all orders say that- it takes some delay for woo commerce to capture the charge. Going forward- we are more then happy to send another one gallon, however please do not be beligerant and abusive towards the staff here. They are not the decision makers and are following our policies and procedures.

      That's wonderful...I finally get a response from you! Unfortunately your response is totally disingenuous, which I will be happy to clarify to those reading this review... I made the order in question at 8:22pm on October 31, 2023, and as mentioned in my review I sent you an email almost immediately cancelling the order...however, for some unknown reason the cancellation email was still sitting in my outbox when I woke up the following morning shortly before 4am and I immediately released it from my outbox at exactly 3:55am the morning of November 1st...which means you would have received the cancellation email before you even opened for business the following morning after the order was made. Having not heard back from you by mid morning on November 1st I sent yet another email again at 11:24am indicating I want the order to be cancelled. Not having heard back from anyone again, I sent a 3rd e-mail at 12:59pm reiterating that I had already sent two emails cancelling the order and to please not ship the product. I finally heard back from someone named Missy at 1:03 pm telling me that the order had already been poured, packaged, and was awaiting pickup by Canpar for delivery...and all of this after being informed that my order had been placed on hold...a matter of mere hours prior... I had been trying to cancel the order since 3:55am the previous evening...if you went ahead and poured it anyway totally disregarding my efforts to cancel the order, then that's on you...not on me... What you describe as belligerent and abusive behaviour in your response to my review was simply nothing more than anger at your staff's attempt to con me into accepting an order that I clearly had cancelled before you even opened for business that morning. As it stands now, I've contacted my credit card company...they told me I have to wait 30 days before I can file a dispute for the charge, which I will definitely be doing in a matter of days. I do not want your product as I have already sourced quality olive oil elsewhere without the hassle I've experienced in dealing with your company...
