I've nothing but praise for the website and your product. I ordered on impulse (my nephew-in-law loves the black/red Buffalo check) for our newest family member and my great-nephew. From the beautiful "Welcome, Griffin" ribbon (such a nice touch) to the cookies to the socks, etc. . . they loved everything! and it was so different, which was unexpected - not the same pastels and boring bibs being offered by everyone else. I really look forward to having an opportunity to use Boodles again!Boodles of Baskets Response

I engaged Boodles of Baskets to create a custom Canadian basket for a coworker who was retiring. When I say that they went above and beyond, I truly mean it. They created a truly "Canadian" gift that was loved by all. I had to rely on their expertise and I'm so glad I did. I would 1000% recommend Boodles of Baskets for future. They were amazing. Ordered a gift basket on the weekend for delivery the next Tuesday. It arrived in time for our friend's anniversary. They were so delighted and sent us a picture of the basket. This company and staff are outstanding! After I had some issues trying to order online, Cherylann quickly resolved them. My order for two baskets where shipped and arrived in Nova Scotia within 3 business days; in the last week before Christmas! The baskets are beautiful, contain very good quality items and are reasonably priced. One of very few companies that offer a gluten-free basket. I'm very pleased with the product, exceptional customer service and quick delivery.Boodles of Baskets Response

First time order and it arrived to my brother and his family in very good time. They said they have it, looks wonderful and can barely wait till Christmas day to open it all up. (Gluten free for my sister-in-law was a factor in the order). Process from order to delivery as all very efficient and quick. Looking forward to checking things out another time and another order. My experience with this company was amazing! I needed a custom basket; the customer service when I called was phenomenal. The staff was helpful and helped with putting a basket together for the occasion quickly and efficiently and had is sent out in record time. Every Christmas I send a food gift to my brother and his family in Vancouver. For years I used US companies until most stopped shipping to Canada. This year was the worst ever. Amazon/ca wouldn’t allow me to send unless I went through my US account. Some places were out of the items I wanted. Some only accepted payment through services like Zelle. And in one case the shipping cost were almost the same price as the gift! I had just about given up. Then I found Boodles. Hooray!! Just what I wanted! Reasonable shipping, easy payment, in stock, delivery in time…and the product looks great! Thank you, Boodles! You saved Christmas from those other Grinches! My technical abilities are rather limited since I did not grow up with computers and find using web sites to order stuff is rather daunting. However, odering through your website was so understandable and easy. When I realized I had made an error on the delivery date I called the 800 number and actually talked to a human voice and was able to fix my mistake. I purchased a basket over a month ago. I did not receive a status update and then a week later asked if the order was even delivered. Then today I received a call because the very well known shipping company they used charged Boodles of Baskets extra for an incorrect address, which they then told me to pay. At no time in the process did anyone call me to clarify if the address is correct when this company or their shipper detected an issue. They charged me for guessing what they thought was the correct address. I never received an order status or even an inkling that there was an issue or asked if I would agree to the additional charges. As a customer, you should know what your product costs upfront and not be charged after the fact. If you opt to use a shipping company that is problematic, your customers should not be subjected to your business choices. Customers should be made aware in bold notice that you will charge them additional amounts of shipping costs because this firm does not own its process. Total cost was $25 more in shipping over a very expensive order, where shipping costs were already paid . Also, in explaining how unfair I thought this process was, their customer representative told me this was my problem. I will never purchase from them again. The shipping company you use should not be my problem. Buyer beware.Boodles of Baskets Response

I am sorry you are frustrated. I could tell you were upset when we spoke yesterday, but you hung up on me, before we could discuss further, which I would have been happy to do. I know $25 seems like a lot, but you entered the state & zip code wrong on the order, so your package had to be re-directed to a completely different state and that is what ***** charged us to do. I do appreciate you honoring our ****** request, once I contacted you via email about the issue.
Our goal is to always be completely transparent with our customers from beginning to end, and that is why we have systems in place to ensure the customer has everything they need to make an informed decision BEFORE they buy. Hopefully the following information further clarify your concerns.
In response to updates, you would have received automated updates to the email that you entered on the order, directly from the courier. As long as the email address on the order is correct, you would have received updates (perhaps they went to your spam?).
In regards to the delivery address, per our website: "It is the customer's responsibility to provide us with a complete and correct address. Please check your addresses carefully! (Including a daytime phone number where the recipient can be reached is highly recommended.)". Remember, we do not know the person you are sending the gift to, or where they live. Only you have that information, so it would be impossible for us to know if the address is correct or not in this situation. The problem was not with the courier, but with the information provided on the order.
We also include the following information in our short "Terms and Conditions" box, which you must confirm reading before you are able to place an order: "I understand that I, the purchaser, am responsible for all gift, shipping charges and taxes. If none is selected or the information is incorrect, or return shipping is required, I give you permission to make the necessary corrections and charge my credit card accordingly." If you do not confirm that you have read and understood these conditions, you cannot process your order.
Look, none of us is perfect. We all make mistakes, and if we had created any of these errors, I would have been the first to contact you, apologize and make amends. However, this was not the case with this order. We shipped your gift to the address we were given. When the address entered on the order was deemed incorrect, ***** did their best and got it to the right person. I know it is frustrating to have an additional expense, but in fairness, although companies should be responsible for errors they create, they should not be held responsible for errors that they did not.
