      Very disappointed Awful! Showed up for our flight 20 min early in Edmonton Alberta on an absolutely gorgeous day, no wind whatsoever. The pilot was on his phone and didn't even look up to greet us, I had to engage him to even notice we were standing there, then he tells us that he is canceling the flight due to weather. I don't understand at all, it was seriously a perfect day. I had my sister and my mom from out of province visiting for my sister's 50th birthday, and this was her surprise gift, we were so disappointed. Another couple there had said they had their flight canceled 7 times!! I don't agree at all with the non refundable voucher policy. I mean if they cancel the flight on a beautiful day like today was, how would anyone be able to reschedule. The company would not have so many pissed off people if they just changed the policy to refund peoples money. On top the pilot or whoever was there was rude, so there goes 1000$ out of my pocket

      We appreciate the review and understand the frustration of the flight cancelation. It is unfortunate they were cancelled as we have had a great flight season so far this year! We have followed up with the pilot and the weather conditions for that evening were very unstable, giving us light swirling and unpredictable winds. As we travel with the wind, this makes for a very unpredictable and potentially dangerous flight as we could end up over an area where we cannot land, therefore the pilot, after many calls with weather forecasters, decided he must cancel. We know this is frustrating for the passengers after travelling to the site, but it is for the safety of all concerned. The money paid for the vouchers is not wasted, as the vouchers are honored for rescheduling for another date. If there is not a date that works with the group this season, the vouchers are still valid and can be used next season. All terms and conditions and potential for cancelations are explained at the time of purchase and we are very clear that the safety of all passengers, flight crew and equipment is priority. We welcome the group to contact us to schedule another date this season or in our 2023 season.

      I haven't had a hot air balloon ride since I booked in 2019. They cancelled our 2019 flight. They didn't have any spots available in 2020. They cancelled our 3 attempts in 2021. They've cancelled our attempt in 2022. They refuse to give a refund, stating tickets are non refundable... yet they still haven't provided the service I paid for 4 years ago.

      Looking at your records we see that you were able to fly in July this year! This is wonderful and we trust you enjoyed your flight! As stated, cancelations can occur as we do need to be sure the conditions are safe for flight. Two years of Covid-19 and reduced capacity also made it a little trickier to get everyone flown but we are thankful to be back to normal capacity and a good weather season so far this year! Thanks for your review - we do hope that your flight ended up being 5 Star!

      What a nasty company!! Do not waste your money!! We've had our vouchers for 4 years, and booked for dozens of times, but so far we haven't had a chance to hot balloon ride, because they cancel every single flight. BTW, they refuse to refund.

      Thanks for your comments - they are appreciated. Please understand that cancelations are for the safety of all involved. All flights are weather permitting and we cannot fly if too windy, rain or storms in the area or poor visibility. We can't control what weather Mother Nature gives us and some passengers end up having to reschedule more than others. Most passengers fly their first or second booking but unfortunately it has taken this group longer. We welcome rescheduling if they have not yet flown.
