Here is how my experience went; I emailed them with an issue I was having with my in ground pool. There was air in the pump and air bubbles coming out of the return. They quickly responded to my email and said it would be $140 to come out and diagnose the issue. I paid the $140 in advance and a few days later two men came out. The diagnosis was that I needed a new filter and new plumbing. I soon received an invoice for $2,234.97. I paid that invoice in advance. A few days later two different guys showed up and installed the new filter and plumbing. After what turned out to be, literally, an all day job, the problem still existed, only a bit worse (more air). He mentioned that a missing o ring on the pump drain plug could be the problem. I was thinking, $2,374.97 later and it was actually an o ring?? The next day I noticed a plumbing leak near a valve tech 2 installed. A few days later two more guys showed up to fix the leak and look at the problem again. They replaced the o ring. No difference. Maybe a cracked lid, but they didnt have a lid. I purchased a new lid, no difference. Then it was decided that I needed a new variable speed motor / pump with computer. Soon I received an invoice for $1601.86 for a variable speed pump / motor. I researched variable speed pumps and concluded that I didnt want one. Especially since there was no guarantee that this would finally solve the problem. I asked for a price for a single speed 3/4hp pump. They sent an invoice of $1,133.00. Bottom line, I paid for a diagnosis, I paid for equipment that I didnt need and didnt solve the problem and they dont seem to care. Based on my experience and other reviews, use your best judgement. Note, his response will be, "the lady is impossible to please, we did everything". Everything but FIX THE PROBLEM that THEY charged to diagnose the solution for. I have had many tradespeople to the property for various services and not a negative review in the bunch ... until now.
