              Due to Covid, I am not living in the country and decided to relocate outside the USA for my health. During this time, I sent this company notification that I would not be getting any mail and requested be rerouted to a different address. Every year, there is property owners association fees, I did not get this year statement and therefore did not have the updated information on address to send payment. Instead of contact me via phone, this property management decided to arbitrarily start charging late and legal fees to initiate 'foreclosure' for such a small amount. This is a very abusive practice and in light of COVID effects in society, unethical. They are charging $1,223 in legal and late fees over a $335 yearly association fee. More than anything, I want to warn all residents in the area and anyone looking to do business with this company. Looks like Select 1 Property Management may have some sort of agreement with ******* attorney at law to complicit in these kind of unethical practices.
