            We had been using this dental practice for a number of years and within the past two years, have found a number of billing discrepancies including services billed that were never provided. They have stated that these are "normal" and they do it frequently. We then specifically asked them to NOT do certain services/procedures, but our children have had those procedures performed against our wishes and direct requests. This has now occurred on multiple visits. We will no longer be using this practice for any of our family dentistry. We do NOT recommend them.

            RE: ******************** HIPPA regulations do not allow specifics in the response. Breton Gardens Family Dentistry takes accusations of fraud very seriously. Review of ******** family records show that all services provided were billed accurately.. ******** specific request that we do not do certain services was in opposition to the standard of care. The accusation of fraud couples with the request to perform malpractice are beyond the pale. If ******** wishes to pursue this, we direct him to the West Michigan Dental Society and their peer review committee. Thank you to BBB for bringing this to our attention.

            This response highlights the business practice of not listening to their customers. We asked on multiple trips to NOT perform certain services and they did these against our wishes. I made no comment on the quality or level of care- that has been fine. My complaint is this office has performed services expressly against our wishes and billed us for those services. We explained to the staff that these services were not covered by our insurance and that this would create a financial burden we did not wish to incur. If you want a dental provider that listens to your wishes, look elsewhere.
