I contracted W of W, St. Petersburg, FL Sept. 3, 2021 to replace an entry way garage door and a horizontal Hurricane-rated bedroom window. While I had a preference for the window brand, they steered me towards an alternate brand claiming that the brand I preferred would take 6 to 9 months to obtain. They said their brand was of equal quality. They also suggested the door brand. The prices quoted were reasonable. I was told they would call in a couple of days to schedule to measure the openings. A couple of weeks past and no word from them, I called Customer Service. Linda handles customer issues. She told me they were very busy, but someone would call. A week later Bob showed up. No call or forewarning. Bob is one of the owners. He measured the openings. I asked him timeline for the installations. He said the door would take 5/6 weeks to arrive, probably mid November. And they would install it when it arrives. The window would take longer, probably early December. Weeks pass, no news from WofW. I stopped by their location 1st week of December. I spoke with original sales person. Asked if door and window had arrived. He didn't know would ask Linda and would call me. Not hearing from him I called Linda. The door arrived but not the window. They would call to schedule to install the door. Didn't hear anything until 1st week of January so I called. The door was installed a week later, no drama. The window another matter. Three months later, March, after many follow up calls, they never return calls, the window arrives. They schedule installation date, no one shows up, no call. I call Linda to reschedule. She does and they show up and install window. A couple of weeks later it rains and discover it leaks quite a lot where the panes meet. They re-caulked several times. Bob said problem was no screen, another drama. Screen installed and made leak worse. It's now August and window is still leaking. Bob says its not their problem. Will Have to sue WofW to resolve problem.
