I had my pool renovated under a subsidiary that falls under Chase Central Construction, Lanakai Pool Renovations, and some glass tile installed on a small raised wall of the pool area. The tile was installed incorrectly in a rushed, careless manner by someone not familiar with the proper way to install clear glass tile. This resulted in crooked tiles, tiles butting up against one another, trowel marks behind the clear tile where there is now visually mildew and bugs crawling behind it and I have photos and videos of this. The crew attempted to fix some crooked tiles which has left the area looking patchy as the grout color does not match the rest of the wall due to dye lot differences. *******************, who runs the renovation side, agreed to replace this for me within the first year warranty period but didnt want to replace the same tile. He sent me shopping to find another tile and despite the fact I paid for an upgraded tile when I had the glass tile installed, I chose to have them just repair it with the same standard 6x6 tile around my waterline to make it easier. **** was happy with this decision and told me he already ordered the tile and the crew would be out there in a few weeks. That didnt happen. Here we are year three and despite the fact I have all the text communication between us with proof of him stringing me along, telling me they would be out to repair the tile, he already had the tile ordered, etc he has been ghosting me for at least 7 months. He wont return texts or calls or pick up when I call. *** even had other people reach out to him since he wont pick up or respond to me. I have been more than patient and did not want to have to publicly go this route but the tile looks horrendous. This company has lied and made empty promises. This was WARRANTY work that I trusted would be fixed and I was pushed aside with excuses that range from them being busy on other jobs to **** telling me nobody on my crew wants to do it.
