*************** *************************** had a hard job to do. He was very professional and did his job well. Everything was backing up into the lowest part of our home, our master shower. He cleaned from 3 different areas to get all of the roots and wipes, (that we will not be flushing from now on). He did an excellent job. I've tried to resolve my issues with this company for 6 months, I'm fed up and left with a botched job. It's unfortunate they can't own up to their mistakes and provide me with a refund so I can get it completed appropriately. I'm a teacher and spending $500 isn't a light job for me. At the time of the original job, I also signed up for their recurring services, I WILL NOT have these people back in my home EVER. I've requested refund of the service and they've cut off all communication with me. I regret to express that my experience with Red Cap Plumbing has been a nightmare, prompting me to share my frustrations. We live on the top floor of a condo. Our troubles began when our neighbor reported a ceiling leak on 11/6/2023, coinciding with our dishwasher drainage issues. As Red Cap members, we expected efficient service but faced misdiagnoses, unfulfilled promises, and a lack of accountability. Calling Red Cap on 11/7/2023, a plumber arrived, claiming to have resolved the issue. No camera inspection was performed, and a promised return on 11/8/2023 to run a camera never happened. Following up on 11/11/2023, we found the leak recurring. Red Cap sent a plumber on 11/13/2023 which was the same plumber from 11/7/2023, who addressed the issue temporarily and insisted to replace our garbage disposal. A supervisor on 11/14/2023 acknowledged misdiagnoses and scheduled a "hydroscrub" for 11/16/2023. The supervisor also took HVAC pictures for a separate issue on 11/14/2023. On 11/16/2023, a new plumber came out and performed the "hydroscrub" and also took pictures to provide to the HVAC manager. Despite Red Cap's concern, as of 11/18/2023, our dishwasher issues remain unresolved, and we spent $2200 with no solution. The promised HVAC repairs for 11/17/2023 turned into a communication disaster. After texting the supervisor on 11/16/2023, we received no response. A call on 11/17/2023 stated they were waiting for pictures already provided on 11/16/2023. This dysfunction is unacceptable. We also have Red Cap scheduled to install a water softener and truly hope this nightmare doesn't extend to another issue. The $15 monthly fee, paid since June 2023, feels like a waste. Urgently requesting Red Cap's management to contact us for a strategic resolution. This experience has been a disappointment, and I hope others considering Red Cap Plumbing are spared from our frustrations.Review from David A

We are an elderly couple in our 70s. We are on a fixed income. Our heat pump stopped cooling and it could not be repaired . It had been down for three days. The temps were in the high 80s to mid 90s. We contacted Home Depot to see if they sell HVAC systems. I was informed that a rep would contact us. Someone from RED CAP PLUMBING in TAMPA called and said they were refered by HOME DEPOT. They told me they would send a rep the next day around 3pm. The sales rep RORY arrived late friday afternoon. The sales rep asked if we have an open Home Depot account. We informed him we do have an open account that we never use. We asked several times about cost and install date. Then He went back out to make a call in his car. When he returned he said good news! ,That a crew will be out the next day on Saturday to do the install. I asked for a cost estimate and was told he couldnt give me one until the office opens on the following monday. Of course! My Home depot credit limit, Just so happen to be 12,290.00 . The next day the sales rep called and asked if he could COME BACK and get a signature he had forgotten. He said it was for Home Depot. He arrived with his tablet and I signed. We never recieved any copy of any documents When we contacted RED CAP PLUMBING for a detailed itemized invoice. .They sent a bill for 12,920.00 . Not an itemized invoice. I have checked several companys and was informed that this should be close too $5,500 at the most. Seems like Red cap did a soft credit check and billed for my maximum limit. The technician ******* was professional, courteous, respectful, & informative. My A/C unit is only 6 months old & every time the unit outside turns off, it makes a very strange loud rattling noise which I was told is not uncommon. Im trusting his word that unfortunately nothing can be done unless the compressor is completely shot. He was very efficient & would recommend him.Review from randy h

what a rip off this company is. 560 .00 to replace a foot of PVC pipe and to faucets. had no choice do to it being 645pm. my water had to shut off so they have me. I'll never use this Jesse James company again.Review from Jaz P

Did a great job. Came within 2 hours of me calling on a sat night. Got the pipes running within 30 min. Easy and clean process. Nice person who came out. Didnt have camera but I can call and schedule them to come back out to camera the pipes and see how they look on the inside. Ive never needed a plumber like this. And I was desperate since traveling tomorrow. Cost 525 for snaking and cleaning drain. Not sure if typical cost but I thought it was worth it for how quick they came and fixed it upReview from Suzie M

Good afternoon I strongly disagree with this statement. I'm out of Tampa Florida we contacted your company before we put in our kitchen to address to waste arm behind the kitchen sink to replace analyze and make sure everything else was up to part after being charged substantial amount over $1,000 for roughly 3 ft PVC and a boot we were told we were good to go fast forward $30,000 later we proceeded with our project and put in our new kitchen and floors to find out the kitchen sink was not draining. We call Red Cap who came back and now told us that our pipe had collapsed and In the same breath upsell us on another service that they provide. Mt question was what happened and why didn't and do his job the first time actually do his job and tell us before we moved on with the project. We are devastated highly upset with the response and the unregard for what was told to us we paid that amount of money because of your reputation and the insurance that we were going to be okay with our project going forward, we truly feel this was a scheme to get us to spend more money. At the time that we brought you guys in the kitchen was completely empty all walls and floors was exposed so prior to us putting in our kitchen if we would have known or the technician would have done his job replacing the pipes would have been less costly about $10,000 less then what we're going to have to pay to replace this the manager supervisor that came here his main purpose was to upsell no resolution no customer service communication the worst part with the tone of the manager(brain) roughly trying to blame us for not knowing what we paid them to know.
