There is not enough room to tell you how I feel. First of all, other complaints about this dealership also warn seniors to beware because they will take advantage of you. You will be signing your deal on a screen atop the finance managers desk, which is basically a giant computer screen To add to our confusion, you sign on this screen that literally serves as a desk. So a new vehicle with a sticker price of $45230 winds up costing you $62033. Those figures do not add up after a $4000 down payment. I realize $4400 in negative equity was added to the price, along with some bogus warranties, but there was also $4000 put down on this vehicle. Originally I was told there would be no negative equity, but that was not true. So they got the trade in and laughably gave me $30000 in trade (Sold the vehicle 3 days later for $36000) So on that trade alone, they made $10000. Back to the screen on the desk, it is impossible to read everything on the top of that screen. I did not realize the discrepancy on the trade because you do not get paperwork, they'll hand you a flash drive with all the terms. Now I was visiting from Ohio where I live, but bought this vehicle new in Fort Myers. When I got home and opened the flash drive, learned they had sold me a warranty for window treatment that I had absolutely no use for unless we got those 100 degree days in Ohio. Furthermore, this treatment can only be done at the ORIGNATING DEALERSHIP, meaning to have this treatment I would have to go back to Florida. This was not at anytime explained to me. I have cancelled all these warranties after reading all the flash drive info and what I had deceptively been talked into. I was told by the general manager that the they would explain the money factors to me, but I have yet to hear from them. Because of their obvious deceptive practices, including the ridiculous price paid for the car even with a $4000 down payment, I am seeking other avenues for help. BEWARE

They added an additional $10000 to the sales price with hidden fees like I have never seen before and did not disclose any of it. I didn't realize the additional cost until I receive a USB drive with all the cost. They said one thing and did another by not ever showing the cost. The price was $18000 but with unexplained addition it came to $29363. Everything was done so fast without explanation and in a very rushed but friendly environment.. It was a total scam$7500 worth of general dealer add on fees. What a rip off. I was scam and trusted them to be honest. My fault but I am afraid they do this with everyone.

Brutal bait and switch! Saleslady got me to go back to the dealership and then, having established a price the previous day, offered a $2,000 reduction. I said yes, waited 10-15 minutes, bunch of numbers describing the sale print-out, shoved at me to sign. When a few minutes later I had time to do the math, there was no reduction in the price even though in the saleslady's handwriting the $2,000 was clearly printed. At that point the manager said it was my fault for not noticing the price when I signed the form. They never discounted the original price but took the $2,000 off of the LIST price. Manager said "it was my fault for not noticing" the mistake. Bait and switch if there ever was! They are very clever how they present the data to you with statements like "you like Me don't you". Honestly. Is this a sales tool? He offered me a $500 reduction but must have said 8-10 times it was "MY FAULT". I have been buying cars for decades but never encountered nothing like this. Resolution is without merit. If management has an argument with the facts, I am all ears.

I was pressured into buying a service agreement for the car I bought. I must have said no about 15 times and the f&i guy just kept knocking down the front end price. Not hundreds but thousands. He was not going to take no for an answer and it was 9:30 pm on a Thursday night. I finally said yes knowing that I was going to cancel it immediately the next week when the contract funded. That was three going on four mins ago. They just ignore me. I’ve called and left message after message. It’s over an hour drive so I’ve only driven there twice now, just to sit and wait for the person that is never going to address my problem. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCUMBAGS!!!!!! If I could give them a quarter of a star, that would be a gift.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM SUBARU OF FORT MYERS, FLORIDA! We canceled a service contract/warranty the *** AFTER we bought a car so well within the 60 days cancellation timeframe - that was on 1/1/23. We are in May and they will not respond to us via email or call back even though it is Florida law to refund the customer and the warranty company already paid back their portion of the money to Subaru so they can pay us back. That is fraudulent behavior. All we asked for was a response on the status of the refund - sent over 15 emails and ongoing calls to the dealership. They will NOT respond. The worst customer service I have ever encountered.

I called the dealership 1-30-23 at 5pm to advise them my car was being towed by AAA via Hyundai *** to dealership. The lady on phone said if it arrived after closing to park the car and put key in drop box. Never requested any information from or specified where to park the car. ****, at 8:30 am, I spoke to the same lady and she said an advisor would contact me. 12:30 pm, same lady said she would email all the advisors to find out who was assigned to my car. I called 2 more times and only got a recording. 5pm spoke to service, not sure if man or woman as they did not identify themselves. They said my car and key were not there, and was I sure it was towed there. After much discussion and on hold for 10 minutes the person said they found the key and the car. They said they could not look at it that day but would call me the next day. I asked to speak to service manager. After 51 minutes on hold I hung up. 2-1, I called 8am and 10 am and only got recording. 10:30am **** calls asking what I wanted. Told him entire story. He says he cannot find car or key, but will call me back. I ask if I should report the car stolen. I call Hyundai *** and they verify that AAA parked the car in front of the service entrance door in front of the drop box and had pictures of my car there to prove it. 11:30 am, I go to dealership and my car is exactly where AAA parked it in front of service entrance. Speak to service manager and he has no clue what is going on. I tell him the story and point to my car outside. He will get on it asap. 2 hours later I am called to say car was done after being lost for 1.5 days. Speak to service manager upon pick up. His excuse is that AAA parked it in the wrong place. He has no excuse for the missing key or my calls not being returned. His apology is minimal, not sincere and blames AAA and Hyundai *** for the confusion. Horrible customer service.

I bought a 2023 Hyundai Elantra based upon the information given me by the salesman, Luis A. He quoted me a price of $31,000 which seemed high, so I asked him for the MSRP. He told me the MSRP was $29,000, and quickly gave me a $1,000 discount which dropped the price to $30,000.00. Then he gave me a second discount of $500 dropping the price to $29,500. Thinking this was reasonable, I proceeded to buy the car. It was only after the purchase when I was given the vehicle price sticker when I found the MSRP to be $27,000. It appears he had lied to me. Since it was after the purchase and they had my money there was nothing I could do about it, except, maybe to hire an attorney and sue. Two days later I attempted to return the car and get my money back. I was told that the 3 day window does not apply in Floida, and my request was denied. Later, when I was talking to the manager, Louis quickly quoted the actual MSRP. He knew the MSRP, and quoted it accurately. A second bad experience was during my time with the finance officer. He changed the agreed upon price by adding $500 to the bottom line by charging me $500 more because I DID NOT FINANCE the car. He said the discount of $500 was because I was going to finance, but when I declined to finance, I lost the discount. Not made clear by Luis. I made a bit of a fuss, so the manager, Rex Moonshower, asked what would satisfy me. I agreed an exchange of mirrors would help, so he said he would check with the owner. More than a week later and several calls to the salesman with no results. So I would caution anyone thinking about buying a car from these people should know better than to trust them. Do not take their word for anything, verify any/all promises. Once they have your money, you have no bargaining power. I hope my experience helps others. And, by the way, I expect they will deny any/all of this. It speaks to their integrity, or lack thereof.

Hyundai of Fort Myers - First of all the car I bought new I love. It is a 2019 Tuscan. I have not had any real issues with it, so, that is not the complaint. The complaint that I have is their service department. Not the men that actually work on the car and not the people that are their to help check you in but the actual Service technician that I'm assigned to. Today, I had an appointment @ 10:30 AM to get an oil change and tire rotation done. I dropped my car off at 10:10AM. I told the tech I would drop if off, go to lunch and return. In addition, I asked if they could look at my tail light as it has gone out and needed replaced bulb. Upon my return from lunch @ 11:25 AM, I texted my service Rep, Charles S., to let him know I was back and asked him if he could give me the status of my car. His response to me, "The Tech is looking into the tail lamp issue." That is all, nothing more. At 12:19 AM, I get a text saying that Harness is bad and needs replaced. This is where it takes a turn for the worse. I told him to forget the bulb issue I would go some place else to get that fixed as I needed to get back to work. For the next 40 minutes this man, Mr. Charles S., decided it was a good idea to tell me that my "assumption" that I would have my car back in an hour was way off base. Instead of taking responsibility for the lack of communication with me, he wanted to turn the issue back on me. I made it perfectly clear, MY ASSUMPTION was that because I had an APPOINTMENT my car would be serviced on time and any extra time would be reported to me. HOWEVER, if I was just coming in without an appointment I would assume you would have my car all day!!! He said, that people that make an appointment to drop it off will fall behind those that wait for their vehicle. No one has ever told me this, that totally defeats having to make an appointment! Rude, obnoxious service techs will ruin your business!!!! Communication is the key!
