BUYER BEWARE - I couldn't agree more with ******** review. Steve is the ultimate nice guy when selling and if things go well you are probably fine. Our install did not go fine. The first install of the bar top, the installers put broke it and put a large crack across the center of the bar top (see picture). The picture is after they attempted to fix it. Steve was unavailable during the install and when talking to the installation company (separate company) it was decided to leave it, not pay the final payment and work with Steve on Monday. At that time, I was pleasantly surprised that he agreed to have a new bar top cut and install it.
Almost 4 weeks later after many text and phone calls, they came out to replace the bar top - we went outside to look at new bar top and were disappointed to see that an approximate 10" piece of the granite had broken off and was laying in the bottom of the trailer. We halted the process - installers called their boss and we called Steve - instantly the sales hat came off and the poor customer service hat came on. We asked what could be done and we were instantly threatened with a lien on our property and a law suit - he said multiple times "this is not a threat, it is a promise". He also said that he had been through this multiple times and had always "won". He was yelling, rude and would not let us get a word in. We were not attempting to get something for nothing, we were attempting to get a good quality product for the money we spent. We are originally from out of state and he also stated - "why don't you go back where you came from".

We allowed the installers to install the bar top and paid the bill in full since this broken piece (that they super glued and epoxied together) would be better than original crack. During the install, of the bar top, the installers were able to make the original break look pretty good, but broke it in another spot and tried to fix it without saying anything to us. This new break is rough to the touch and I can only assume it will get worse over time.
Here is an example of the text I received from Steve and I sure wish I had a recording of the phone conversation. I have had many things installed and fabricated during my life and this is the worst experience I have every had.

Here's a picture the guy sent me when they were there with peace still on the trailer hasn't even been removed yet and it's all intact with the brackets holding it so I have no idea what you're talking about a piece be completely broken off cuz from what I can tell from the picture there is nothing broken off.

I apologize if you think I had an attitude but that's what happens when you try to be nice to people I bought another slab for $1,000 I lost my *** on this job to try to be nice to you and make it right it has a vein in it that's part of the material okay if you don't like it you should have never selected it it had the veins in it when you looked at it.

As I originally said - BUYER BEWARE - Steve and SKL Stonex failed miserably in handling this situation in a professional manner that a reputable company would have done.
