My very first time trying 2 weeks to make my car payment early.The mobile app is totally and completely b******* I got absolutely no information. They're asking me for pin numbers. I've never received. I called to get instructions on how to make a frigging payment and get insulted. By some named woman ***** who acts as if this was her personal business, insulting. I wished to God. I had never gotten with this fricken, Credit Union, I'm definitely going to see how I can get my s*** refinance with A different finance Institution.Regrets.Review from Lorene H

Member since 1977, multiple accounts, mortgage loan, and former employee. I will be closing my account due to the changes in *** processes. As example, a deposit to my savings account was going to have a seven day business hold on it. I deposit this same check every month for more than two years. Today, *** requires a hold. I called and spoke to the *** Team with no response.Yesterday, a check drawn on *** being deposited into my *** account was returned to me since they felt the signature did not look right to the teller taking the depost. I was told to get another check from the *** member for me to deposit. Again, this is the same deposit I have been making monthly for more than five years. After speaking with the *** Team, I brought the check into the Hillsborough Avenue (near Hard Rock) location and deposited it without any problems.This is a waste of my time to have to bring things in person or have "HOLDS" placed my funds in excess of what the traditional requirements are for banks/credit unions (industry standards).If ***'s goal is to retain their long time customers, this is NOT the way to achieve this goal. I have options and on my way out the door. Lastly, these last two experiences this week have been a recent change in the way *** operates, which have not been communicated to their customers. I was a victim of identity theft that affected my acct. I had a login to my phone from *******, which I have proof of. A scam company accessed my acct with my id and password, deposited a fraudulent check into my acct and withdrew the money before it was deemed fraudulent. Suncoast held me responsible, even though I offered to provide proof of the goin to access my phone and all documentation I had, and proceeded to cancel my acct. they did not even care to see my proof. On another occasion, I had a family member do a bank wire to me. The bank questioned the deposit. When I went to the branch to find out what the problem was, they questioned the *** of the transaction being the *** it was and why I would need someone to send me that *** of money. They then questioned my former last name, which was *********. The employee whom I was on speaker phone with at the branch with another employee present, said to me. Do you know how many people with that last name are on the terror watch list? So yes, I will ask you all the questions about this transaction that I want. I could not even believe what I was hearing. I am certain this phone call was recorded and I also have that employees name. I am researching whether to file charges for discrimination against that employee and the bank itself. They had also restricted my account after I made some cashapp transactions. They do not offer Zelle so using cashapp was my option to help my kids at college. I also had a friend, who was also a member, try to do a member to member transaction. They blocked that also. Find a different bank. I have been treated horribly! They have no intention of protecting you as a customer and client. They are only concerned with protecting themselves.Suncoast Credit Union Response

I have been a member since 2016, and while it had it benefits now I am considering closing my account. My account seems to have been locked, unable to access mobile wallet or call to check balances. They offer no options afterhours. Their website states they open Monday at 7am. When I call it tells me to leave a voicemail. They clearly don't care about customers what type of business is not open on its posted time. God forbid someone has an emergency. This is unacceptable for a bank.Suncoast Credit Union Response

Credit Union Reporting inaccurate to credit bureaus. Credit union restricting certain accounts and will not rectify. Authorized user on spouse, I attempted to remove myself from Spouse account. Per staff it was acceptable later to find out, I was not removed,Suncoast Credit Union Response

I am unable to access my accounts. My debit card expired and was never sent out to me over 1 month ago.. After phone calls today lasting over an hour, they refuse to expedite it to an address via **** I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said there was none and I could send an email to the general email. I have no way to access the funds as we are in ** and there are no Suncoast credit unions. They refuse to send via *** to an address nor provide me an escalated name, address or phone number.Suncoast Credit Union Response

Suncoast is not user friendly. I have been on the phone with a cust. svc. rep who was trying to explain how to make a payment on my credit card using a debit card from another C.U. Could never pull up the site she told me to: www.suncoastcreditunion.com, when I did that I did not get the same page she was describing. Unbelievable. I make all my payments on line, but Suncoast I've always had to take a check into the branch. Can you just simplify this process??? Like other businesses??Suncoast Credit Union Response

I recently opened an account here after being members of a PA based credit union for 20 years. Within 3 months, Ive had fraud activity TWICE where they froze my account and didnt even notify me. I realized the issue when my debit card was declined, The first time resulted in being issued a new account number, new debit cards, and checks (which I demanded for free since they are not cheap). The hassle of changing direct deposits and automatic payments was annoying, but was grateful they caught the fraud. Three months later, it happens again. The customer service rep told me to have my devices professionally cleaned as I probably have malware. Funny, none of my other accounts have been compromised. I will be marching myself into the branch today to close my account and switching back to my old credit union (lucky for me I never closed my account there)). I only recommend if you dont like having access to your money.Suncoast Credit Union Response
