The company failed to honor their own Service Contract, specifically a Certificate of Labor Coverage. The Certificate of Labor covers the labor portion of any repairs to the equipment installed by them for ten years. The expiration date is August 10, ****. They said their warranty is tied to the equipment warranty and when the previous owner sold the house to us the equipment warranty was dropped to five years. Hence, the labor warranty, was also reduced to five years and, consequently expired.First, the labor warranty is issued by Bayonet and not the equipment manufacturer. Second, they could not identify ANYTHING at all in that document that mentions ANY such relationship to the warranty of the equipment. They document covered labor related to any repair for ten years from the date of issue regardless of the warranty on the equipment by the manufacturer. Those two things are unrelated. They chose not to honor their own warranty from everything that I could tell. I've cancelled my maintenance agreement with them.Review from Linda R

Horrible service. I had an evening service call which I paid $99 for a diagnosis. The inexperienced plumber told me that they'd have to cut out a portion of a wall behind a shower. I asked couldn't it be the toilet wax ring he said no way. The next day he calls and tells me I have to call a leak detection company to find out where the leak is. Turns out it was just the wax ring on the toilet which the plumber never checked. a beginning plumber ought to know to flush the toilet and check if it's leaking but he never did. So it cost me for bayonet Plumbing but they never fixed anything and $300 for the leak detection company in order to learn that it was a $7 wax ring that needed to be replaced. When I called and tried to talk to a supervisor at bayonet, they told me they'd call me back Tuesday today is Friday. Terrible customer service they don't care whether you get your problem resolved or not. I would never use them again.Review from Sara D

I have been a Bayonet Customer for 6 1/2 years due to the fact they installed AC units for the builder in my neighborhood. I have the MVP program for which we are suppose to get 2 maintence services a year. These have to be schedule out 2 or months in advance and they call and cancel on you. 05/17/23 My AC went out I called them in the evening and waited over 10 minutes on the 24 hour after hours service line before I got a human. They said they could not get to me until Friday and it is Wednesday evening. Their website claims that they have same day service and are open 24 hours. On Thursday midday I found the owner on LinkedIn and sent him a message about my disatisfation and pointed out that the website stating they have same day service is false advertising. I got a call from his operations manager who was apologized and at least moved my appointment to the early afternoon on Friday. Problem fixed about 4 PM, blown fuse, then 8 hours later the AC went out again. I tried to call their supposed after hours emergency line 5 times between 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM holding for up to 15 minutes at a time and no one ever answered the phone. I called again at 7 AM and held for 20 minutes when someone finally answered, she was very nice and got me a morning appointment. The probelm was a second blown fuse. It was fixed they left and in less than 8 hours the fuse blew again. I called the night line at 8 PM Saturday and someone answered. They put me on the schedule for Sunday and gave me another 12 hour window. I called this morning and they said my appointed time was 12:30 so they gave me a window of 10-2. It is now 8:45 PM at night and supposedly the tech has been on the job before me since 3 PM, So 6 hours I have been next in line. I called to check status at 1:30, 3, 6 and 7:30 and they just keep saying he is on another job. Just horrible customer service. I have now been without AC for 5 nights and 4 days and I have no idea if someone will ever get here tonight.Review from Amanda C

My AC has not been cooling at night for the past six months. Literally to the point where everyone is sweating puddles. I have people in my home with medical conditions who need to stay cool. This service has been extremely unreasonable. Due to three deaths in my family back to back, I have not been able to remain home all day waiting for them to come since they cannot give you a specific appointment time. I finally managed to get a tech out, who did not seem to be able to diagnose the issue. The second tech who came out assured me another person would show up after he spoke with the builder, but no one ever showed up. After sending a follow-up email 1 week ago, I didn't get a reply. 2 weeks later, I get a call scheduling a repair for a month out. This is not acceptable. That tech stood in my home and assured me the turnaround time was one day and the lady on the phone did not seem to have a care in the world. She kept going further and further out. I expressed my disappointment and requested an earlier appointment, but they refused to accommodate. This is not acceptable customer service.Review from David H

Just a few quick words on the service from Bayonet Plumbing at my home. We needed to have some minor upgrade plumbing work done in our bathroom, and I called Bayonet Plumbing to perform the installation. I called Bayonet because we had other work performed by them last year, and we were very happy with the service they provided. On a Friday afternoon, Bayonet sent *********************** to our home to install an owner-supplied item. Unfortunately, after some serious contemplation over the installation instructions, it was determined that the owner-supplied item did not have all the compatible parts to enable ****** to perform the installation, and he had to order the compatible part for installation on another day. ****** contacted his office and placed the order for the part and advised me that once the part was delivered to his office, he would return to make the installation. Expecting to be charged for an additional service call, I asked ****** how much the two visits would cost. He advised me that that because he was unable to perform the work there was no charge for this first service call and the only charges would be for the part and the next service call a welcome surprise! I received a call the following Monday that the part was located and that ****** could return on Wednesday to complete the installation. ****** arrived on Wednesday afternoon and quickly installed the new part and the owner-supplied item to our great satisfaction. Great service from a very reliable company. As for a personal recommendation regarding ****** he is a very personable and experienced plumber. He took great care to ensure that the installation was done correctly and that the work area was as clean after the installation as it was before the installation. I would gladly recommend him and Bayonet to perform any other plumbing work in my home. **********Review from Mark G

Horrible. 12 hour service window is ridiculous, and the two times we used them they weren't even able to respond in that **** window. And that was after waiting two days each time for an appointment. Latest service call was 7:00 am to 7:00 pm window and tech called at 7:45 pm to ask if we wanted to reschedule for the next day - seriously?? Simply the worst.Review from Gary E

Angel, the service tech, called me to say he was about an hour away from coming to my house. He asked me what the issue was with my AC and had I done anything to get it to work. Told him I had checked for exess water in the drain line and sucked that out with a shop vac. Told him I had checked the excess water device in the drain line and drained that water out. Told him I switched the breaker from the "off" position to the "on" position on the unit and that I checked to be sure the main AC breaker in the garage was on. He asked me to take the batteries out of the thermostat and the screen went dark. He concluded that the power was not getting to the AC. He then asked me to flip the breaker on the AC unit. Surprise! the power came on, the thermostat lit up and the fan came to life. I had mistakenly turned the power off during my attempts to get it to work. He then asked me to call him back in a few minutes because there is a time delay before the AC would start. The cooling came on and I phoned him back. He was able to diagnose the problem remotely. He asked me to phone the office and cancel the service call which I did. Great service Angel! Great service Bayonet!Review from Arlene M

This company was fine about a year ago, but something has happened. I had the do my two maintenance appointments on my AC and they were great. BUT THEN - six months after that they called to renew. It took a week to do because the "had a new phone system." Does no one there have a cell phone? I renewed and then the morning of the appointment they texted to say they were too busy with people whose air conditioning was broken and to call to reschedule. OK. I get that. So I rescheduled for a week or two later, and they never showed up at all. At that time I asked for a refund, which they gave me. I waited a while and figured I would give them another chance, so a couple of weeks ago, I rejoined - and I believe the price is up. This was mid October and they couldn't give me a maintenance appointment for THREE MONTHS! I took the appointment but later told them that kind of service was not acceptable so they gave me an appointment for yesterday, which was less than a week from my call, which was fine. Window was 3 to 6 p.m. It came and went, and I texted them at 6:20. No one had called to say they were running late. They told me they were running late and would call when they were on their way. At 7:20 on a Saturday night they called and said they were on their way. It was dark out and I expected them to check out the outside line as they used to. So I said it was too late to come. That is where I am now. The tech told me to reschedule. I now have to ask for a refund again. They apparently have a trouble hiring people, so maybe they shouldn't take any new business. And they way they replied to that review above is disgusting. You NEVER TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT. Something is very wrong with this company these days,Review from Becky P

In a nut shell this is one of the worst companies I have ever used. The inconsistency with their business makes me feel as if they are dishonest. I manage multiple rental properties and had this company out at 3 of our rental properties in one week.....all three plumbers had a different way of doing the business from the cost to signatures to not coming to the ***************** their customer service was a joke everyone has a different story with everything they did. The very first house we had them come out to was a joy with a wonderful plumber who was very prepared and knew his stuff....the last two houses we had them come out to was a nightmare... I will NEVER waste my time with this unprofessional company and the way they do business and treat the *************** to much stress and time on the phone waiting to talk to someone is inexcusable....********* *******Review from Duane H

I purchased a brand new home through Lennar and Bayonet is the company that provided our AC unit. The problem is the AC in the downstairs doesnt get cold at night, which make no sense, since heat is supposed to rise. We have now live in the home over a month and we are having the hardest time getting them out to fix our issue. Theyve had a couple techs come out just to tell us another type of tech needs to come out to fix the problem. So far Bayonet has rescheduled the appointment and said it will take another month to fix. This is so annoying that Im getting to the point where Im thinking of hiring another company come out to fix even through our system is still under warranty with Bayonet. My next next after this will be to report them to the BBB if this isnt resolve sooner then a months time.Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC Response
