Bought the car on April 2023. FairFax motor provided me no accident carfax but when I ran my own carfax found that car had 2 accident. Accident No.1: First accident reported on May-2018 but Fairfax motor gave me carfax had no accident. This people tempered carfax report. I have original copy with my sign on it with purchase deal document. Uploaded the dealer fraud copy of the carfax report. Accident No.2: 2nd accident reported on 04/26/2023 but I purchase the car on 04/22/203 and got delivered my home by (Sales person) on 04/27/2023. I have delivery text massaged confirmation for proof. How can they had accident before delivery and not informed me at all? I did email couple of time to (Sales person) for justification and ask me to connect Andy(owner) but she ignored my email.Review from Wanda M

THEY ARE SELLING CARS THAT ARE NOT LEGITIMATELY PASSING VA SAFETY AND EMISSIONS INSPECTION!! THAT IS A CRIME TO FALSIFY A STATE INSPECTION! CHECK THE PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME ISSUE. FAIRFAX MOTORS IS NOT A PLACE THAT YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH!! PAULINE WAS NICE BUT SHE STILL SOLD ME THAT UNSAFE CAR! JOHN IS A LYING SCAMMER !! ANDY IS THE SHADY OWNER!Review from Capri

WORST CAR PURCHASE EVER i havent even had my vehicle for 30 days yet , failed maryland inspection for basic **** (brakes front & back, tires , rotors ) then the battery stopped working when it was took out hasnt been replaced since 2016 . all basic shit that should of been checked and replaced . when i looked up the va inspection check list and compared to the maryland inspection checklist they basically check for the same exact things so i have no idea how it passed va inspection not even 30 days of having this vehicle and ive put more then 600$ into it . NEVER AGAIN .... & THE PEOPLE SUCK AT COMMUNICATION

Good afternoon Mr. ****** ****** ** and Ms. Destiny B*****, We are sorry for any inconvenience you have had with the 2013 Ford Explorer with 128,152 miles when you purchased it from Fairfax Motors. The car did pass Virginia inspection at a third party not affiliated with our dealership. Virginia and Maryland have different inspection standards. Virginia does an annual inspection where Maryland only does it once that is when your buy the car. In regards to the communication we have responded within the same day to you either text or email or called with exception to yesterday, Tuesday, August 10th, when the salesperson you have been communicating with had a day off. we have no evidence of your leaving any messages for a manager. Our salesperson left a text at 10:08 today, August 11th and I left a voicemail message at 1:05pm today, August 11th and we have not heard back from you. Even though you drove over 1,000 miles before your got the vehicle Maryland inspected, we would like to offer you a full refund. Please contact me as soon as you can, so we may go over your options. I went here to buy a used car and I understand used cars do not come with any warranty. However, buying from a "Dealer" who is "BBB Accredited Business A+", you would expect they would do some basic test and maintenance before selling the vehicle. If not, what is the difference between buying off craigslist and a dealer? Secondly, they claim they are "BBB Accredited Business A+". This is a false and misleading statement. They are not BBB Accredited and it says so right here on the BBB website. Third, the Honda CRV EX L that I purchased from them had safety issues. The doors would not lock when driving and they would pop open after 9 MPH speed. They told me they were fixing it before I bought it but it looks like nothing was done. They didn't even clean the car. There was stale food, dog hair in the car. I always bought all my cars from a Toyota or Honda dealership. I tried Fairfax Motors to see if they were worth a consideration. From my personal experience, I would never go back there. Yes, a lot of the higher end cars they sell are in good condition to begin with, so they have some good reviews on google. But, if you ever run into a problem, they will never respond.
