Basically Pens State university is very bias towards adult learner. i have exactly 6 more classes to go and the student aide office at 38 Shields building refuses to return my calls. Due to the fact I am head of household I am eligible for both F.O.S.F.A. and student financial aide loans in which Penn State Student financial aide purposely cancelled telling me since I am a senior i must pay for the course out of pocket for the last semester a total of $18,890 even though my financial aide will cover the semester. This is due to many ridiculous reasons that are discriminatory in nature. One of the main one is they( student Financial Aide office) has stated point blank ( According to the Executive Directors commands do not believe i am capable enough of paying off my loan T.Y.D.because she got her posse of financial representatives to all agree with her agenda stating in other words I have no capital gains, I am too old to get a personal loan and really to old to pay back student aide. I had found out that most recently P.S.U. is in completion for other state schools enrollment for 2021 to 2022 school year for the Governor Wolfe Education Bill of 33.1 Million Dollars only available to young educator coming into the file of education which they will settle on a hybrid pension plan of 1/2 federal / state pension and 1/2 of 401KB plan in which the state can remove when there is a leave before 10 year tenure. Also they count in the loan forgiveness to grant a no pay back benefit of these new certification teachers stay on for 10 year tenure with low pay and no pension.( They are robbing Peter to Pay Paul basically. Being I am a tenure teacher already and need 1 other cert for my position, which P.S.U. refuses to accept or acknowledge. The P.S.U. student Financial Aide refuses to take any accountability hoping that people like me will bend but ethically I cannot since they are at fault and breaking civil right laws. for the right to a fair education. P.S.U. used the excuse I have capped on tuition usage, however out of all the universities in the state of Pennsylvania they are the only one who has state funding but choose to giv3 it to new bee 18 year old still supported by their parents in hopes they actual become teachers which they 50 may not after they see the bad deal they will revive. P.S.U has attempted three times to black mail me into norther major than W.F.D.E which I need for vocational education / labor and wage law. Such as R.H.S. and organizational Leadership. I agree in a W.F.D.E. Labor and WAGE MAJOR AND EVEN APPLIED ON-LINE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS HOWEVER p.s.u. STUDENT AIDE REFUSES TO ACCEPT MY ON-LINE p.s.u. WORLD CAMPUS APPLICATION O4 REVIEW MY REAPPLICATION. I contacted the Pa Attorney General office and Governors wolf office and both constitute party refused to intervene.So I guess that since P.S.U. has covered up sexual assault on students without recourse over 30 ears they too are trying to get away with servicing adult learners as well. What ever you do do not allow your child or young student to attend P.S.U because you of that older child will suffer the same financial fate and P.S.U. student financial aide will wipe your entire pension account. Or so they will try . RUN FAST>>>
