In early May Rainmasters came to do a roofing job on our house and garage. The job was done incorrectly using old shingles, not done to contract, and by unskilled, untrained workers. The job caused damage to our home including blown trusses, soft spots, drip edge issues, and much more. They blamed the shingles distributor, but this is much more than that. As shown in pictures: Drip edge, aluminum work is poor or not done Nailed through flashing Double shingles areas Unsealed areas promoting water damage After job mold growth in attic Used old shingles Listed higher quality materials on invoice (or verbally agreed) and used low end items Blew apart trusses with inaccurate nail gun use Improperly installed most roofing elements Scratched skylight kits that were brand new Broke custom gutters Didnt protect home correctly in old roof removal Broke existing vent and didnt seal correctly The list goes on and is documented with photo evidence.We contacted the company the day after with our concerns. They came out, sent shingles to ***** Corning and offered a redo. Who would want the company that just destroyed your home to try again? No thanks. We will need to re do AND fix their damages. We are getting a re roof done by another company, as this quality of work is unacceptable. Pictures show lack of quality of work better than can be described.
