I first contacted the company to re-stain my deck on 21 June 2021. Three months passed and work was finally started on 17 Sep 21. The deck was washed and a technician would return after the deck was completely dry to then stain it. The agreed upon price was $ $1,600. My complaint about the company is the "seasonal" technician which was hired and who performed the staining did a horrible job and took zero care to cover the surrounding area directly adjacent to the deck. By not covering the immediate area, the stain was cast on the mulch bed, the plants, planters, pavers and a porch swing which had all been removed or is permanently located outside of the deck area. ***** stain covered all of the area. My plants, mulch, pavers and other items were completely *****. I took pictures and called and emailed the company. The technician also dumped out remaining stain into my mulch bed in 3 separate locations, leaving puddles of stain. He also sprayed excess stain all over my grass and went to lengths to conceal these piles by using a planter and a Frisbee (items laying close by in my yard) over the piles of wet stain. The technician tried to hide the piles of stain he dumped out in 5 places in my yard. Instructions were to stay off the deck for ************************************************************************************* a wet puddle of stain. Each time I attempted to make contact with the company, I was met with snarky, and condescending comments and was stonewalled when I asked to speak with management. I attempted no few than 10 times to get a hold of someone from the company unsuccessfully. Each time I called, I was told they were in "meetings" and wouldn't be available until sometime later in the week. After several emails which included pictures and my complaints, a different technician arrived at my home to try and clean up some of the over spray that the original tech had egregiously messed up. He could not remove the stain from the affected areas. UNSAT!
